[Chapter 18]

(Delirious' POV)

"Let's retreat!" Evan yells but as soon as we head for the door, more of the Myst's come in.

"Oh fuck..." I say as I start feeling drowsy. I feel hands pull me and I see that we are taking cover. I look to my side and Evan was there.

"You gotta stay with me Jonathan!" My eyes widen at Evan calling me by my real name. I groan as I try to stand up, I have lost too much blood.

"I am sorry Lizeth..."
(3rs Person POV)

As Delirious loses conscious, Evan punches the ground and looks over at the others.

"Throw a grenade!" Evan yells and Mini looks at Evan and nods.

He pulls out the grenade, pulls the pin, throws it and soon after that an explosion was heard. They all stand to see if it was clear and they were glad to finally be out of war.

"Guys! Delirious passed out from loss of blood." Evan yells and the guys all come running.

Straight away, Lui and Tyler started patching up his arm. I then remember something.

"Shit Lizeth!"
(Lizeth's POV)

I started to tear up when I stare at Delirious, he was laying on the floor and it seemed like he was dead.

"Awww, did your long lost friend die? Great, that's one less thing to worry about now." He says and I feel a tear fall down my cheek.

No! Jonathan can't die on me...
He can't, he promised....

"No!" I say and he looks over at me.

"No what?" He says and I slowly stand up. He aims the gun towards me. I than see a shadow behind him but I can't figure out the shadow. The shadow then stabs him in the back and the leader falls to the ground.

"Leave Lizeth alone."

"J-Jonathan!" I say and he comes out of the shadows, blood dripping down his arm. He falls to the ground and I run to him.

"But, how did you?" I ask and he chuckles.

"When I passed out I woke back up and I waited for the perfect moment to make my move, when Evan finally looked away, I switched my body with a fake one and ran my ass over here." He says and I start to feel tears coming again.

"Oh Jon..." I say and I kiss him. We part and I press the earpiece.

"Evan, Jonathan is here with me, he will explain when you guys get back...Wait, the bomb!" I yell.

"Don't worry Liz, Lui found it and he stopped it."

I sigh in relief and I look over at Delirious who seems to have passed out. I hold him gently and I rested my head on his.

(Week After.)

I was sitting on a chair on the balcony, just staring at random pedestrians as they go on with their non dangerous lives, I than feel and arm wrap around my waist, I turn my head and I see Jon looking at me with a grin.

"Hey Liz, what are you doing outside by yourself?" He asks and I look back at the city and smile.

"Just enjoying a day without violence, for once." I feel his grip tighten around my waist and he looks at the sky.

"Come with me, I gotta show you something." He says, pulling away from me and I follow him outside to his blue *Random Car Name*.
