I could feel his dark brown eyes piercing into me as he leaned against the gate infront of Johnny's house. The conversation was mostly jokes as some of the boys continued to crack on one another and everyone's laughed filled the air. As the night grew darker it was almost 11 o'clock. I started to loosen up a bit as the weed had me at a nice high. The August Air was at a perfect temperature that wasn't sweltering nor chilly. I glanced up to meet Prince's already looking eyes. He's only been here for a few minutes and he hadn't really said much but I wond
"I'm starving. Some Food would crack right now," Johnny said stretching and yawning on his words. Taron whispered something discreetly in Tish's ear and she let out a little giggle as she played in his hair while sitting on the step below him. His arms were griped around her and his mouth was nuzzled into her ear in a comfortable way. I couldn't help but feel envy towards the happiness that spread across the both of them from each others presence. Tayanna was playing 8 ball pool with King via iPhone application screaming everytime he got a point. Everyone was laid back, chillin and it was nice. I didn't know them like that but they didn't make me feel excluded or unwelcome.
"Yo we out ya'll," Taron said as he got up and balanced Tish as he grabbed her waist and assisted her up. They stepped down the stairs and Ryanna followed after the pair. Tish had a perfect hour glass figure and Taron rapped his arms around her and kissed her cheek. Taron dapped up the rest of the boys as he made his way out and Tish and Ryanna said there goodbyes as well.
"It was nice meeting you," Tish said sweetly and I let my lips form into a tiny smile and waved bye to the three of them.
"Ya'll tryna get something to eat?" Tay asked the group. I stayed silent and waited for others responses before nodding in agreement. Tay grabbed her keys off the porch and her Michael Kors bag and made her way to her car. King, Johnny, Mack Prince and I followed. We fit ourselves into the black jeep. King sat in the passenger seat as he was the biggest and Mack made a joke about his weight making the car lag if he sits in the back.
"Laylani, you gonna have to sit on somebodies lap because..." She pointed towards the back of her car at the boxes and loads of junk and my heart started to beat rapidly. I felt uncomfortable and I knew she knew that. Tay and I were so different. She was so carefree and wild and I was much more conservative and to myself. She often tried to get me to break out my shell but it was nearly impossible. My silence must of gave off my uncomfortable feelings towards her idea as Prince quickly spoke.
"I'll take my car, and we will trail behind ya'll." Prince suggested not taking his eyes off me. Was he referring to me when he said 'we will trail behind ya'll?"
"Aigh, ima ride wit you," Johnny stated. My heart sank a little as I hoped he was talking about me for a bit. I quickly pushed the thought out of my mind and proceeded to get inside Tay's car.
We drove to the nearest Wendy's bumping trap music. Tay, King and Mac started singing obnoxiously along to Meek Mill when Ooh Kill Em came on. I sat in the back quietly opposite Mack as I scrolled down my snapchat timeline. Nothing interesting was appearing, so I locked my phone and clicked my home button to see my lockscreen of me and my mother. Her full course hair was in a perfect bun and she kissed me on my cheek. Her smile was so beautiful and her skin was extremely flawless. I was always told that we were twins from different generations but it was impossible. Nobody could ever be that beautiful, I was sure of it.
When we pulled up to Wendy's we got out the car and Prince's car pulled into the parking spot next to us. We all walked inside, jokes continuing to leave the lips of the groups mouths' and loud bursts of laughter following.
"King you ordering last cause they not finna have no more food after yo dumb ass," Mack said barely being able to talk because his laugh was overcoming him.
