Chapter 31

CHAPTER 31

*Niall's POV*

She's leaving. I didn't say anything. She must think I don't care. I'm so stupid. Then my instincts kicked in and I ran out the door. She was walking to her car.

"Darleen! Darleen!" I yelled out of breath. She turned around her eyes were puffy and red. She was crying. Because of me. She had a confused look on her face.

"What?" She asked clearing her throat, in a low voice.

"Please give me a chance I was stupid. I don't deserve you." I said. I meant it i didn't deserve her or her forgiveness.

"I don't know Niall" She said looking down at the floor kicking a pebble.

"Please. Come tonight around 7pm. Dress nicely I'll prove I'm truly sorry. I am! I really do love you. I was never playing with your heart. I'd never do that."

She sighed and finally said, "Ok"

"Thank you." I said giving her a smile. She sighed and turned around back to her car. My smile faded. I really screwed up. But I'm determind to get her back.

*Darleen's POV*

Thank god my parents weren't home neither were my brothers. I cried the whole way here. My eyes were puffy and red. I didn't want to explain myself to them. I listened to 'Tear Drops On My Guitar' and 'Red' by Taylor Swift on replay. The after effect of crying was taking over I was falling asleep.

When I woke up I looked at the clock. Its 5:06 I have to start getting ready. I have to be at Niall's by 7. I jump in the shower when I come out I wrap the towel around me and blow dry my hair. I begin to straighten it. Once its straight I change into a blue summer dress and silver sandals. I do light makeup to cover my puffy eye,bred eyes. I grab my phone and purse and I'm out the door. When I get to Niall's its a bit cold. I knock on the door. He opens the door and lets me in.

"Soo... Why am I here?" I ask.

"Come" He leads me to his backyard. I'm stunned by what he's done. There's a table set up in the middle and the whole backyard is covered in candles, rose petals, and little lights. He sits me down at the table and then Liam appears.

"Hello I will be your waiter tonight. Here is your drinks." He said handing us cups with water. I find this funny.

"I'll be back with the food in a bit. Why don't you to chat." He said winking as he walked away.

"Darleen I'm serious. I'm sorry I was stupid. I guess I felt lonely and thats why I didn't pull back. I was never playing with your heart. I love Everything About You. From your smile to your eyes to your little insecurities." He said. I could tell he wasn't lying but still he hurt me.

"You could've called me and I wouldn't have gotten as pissed for me to have to find out from a magazine. I was heartbroken..." I said trailing off. Just then Zayn appeared with food.

"Bon Apettit" Zayn said and walked away. Niall and I dug in. Who am I kidding I still love him but he hurt me. Once we finished I stood up.

"Well this was nice and all but I should get going. I don't want to get home too late. My mom and dad are out of town and so are my brothers. So I got to go. Thanks" I said walking back inside until Niall grabbed my wrist.

"Wait there's still more." He said leading me back outside. Oh. My. God.
