CHAPTER 36
*Darleen's POV*
I smiled throughout the whole song. So much memories came flashing back.
~Flashback~
Finally the end of the day! I walked as fast as I could before they find me. As soon as I reached the car with my mom waiting inside I got in and shut the door quickly.
"Hey how was school?" She asked.
"Ok" I responsed bluntly. I grab my earphones and plug them in. This was a constant thing. Music blocked the rest of the world away. I felt safe.
She pulled over in our driveway. I literally jumped out and ran to my room. I locked the door and sat on my bed. I took off my shirt and jeans and stood in front of the mirror.
"Why am I so ugly?" I ask myself. I was called UGLY, FAT, WORTHLESS by the pretty girls and by some boys. I walked to my closet and threw on some sweats and a baggy grey t-shirt. I look through my music and finally decide to put 'Change Your Life' on replay. I sat there balling my eyes out while listening to the song. I go to my drawer and grab my diary. Music and my diary are the two things that helped me live through. I write everything that happen today and lay down. I hug my diary and eventually fall asleep.
~End of Flashback~
I snapped out of my thoughts when Niall waved his hand in face.
"Huh?" I ask.
"They're announcing 'Best Girl Music Group'" He said pointing to the presenter. I look around the table see Perrie is back and the girls are there too! I must have zoned out for quite a while.
"And the Best Girl Music Group is.... Little Mix!" She says and Zayn gives Perrie a quick hug before she goes up there along with the rest of the girls.
"Oh my God!" Leigh-Anne began.
"Thank you so much. Thank you to all the Mixers!" Jade continued.
"Thank you so much. Remember you're all beautiful. Thank you!" Jesy went on then gave the microphone to Perrie.
"Thank you so much Mixers!" Perrie said and gave the mic to the host and came back to the table.
Soon the award ceremony was finished and the after party began. The boys went to go talk to some people while us the girlfriends stayed in a little group. Then Jesy, Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie approched us.
"Hey Dani, El, Shania and Darls." Perrie said.
"Why'd you call me Darls?" I asked.
"Its your new nickname" She giggled as I shook my head
"Anyways Shania, Darleen." She said emphasizing my name. We all laughed.
"This is Jesy, Jade, and Leigh-Anne." Perrie said motioning to each girl.
"Hey I'm Shania." Shania introduced her self.
"Oh you're Harry's girlfriend?" Leigh-Anne. Shania nodded.
"Hi I'm Darleen." I said with a wave.
"Hey." They all echoed.
"And you Nialler's princess?" Jesy asked. I blushed and nodded.
"Girls, Darleen is a HUGE fan!" Perrie said.
"Oh really?" Jade ask. I just nod again. Damn I'm being shy!
"Who was or is your favorite?" They questioned. I giggle as they fought over it being one or the other.
"Jesy. Because she inspired and still does me. Plus I went I went through bullying like her over the same reason." I said lookig down. I was engulfed in a bunch of arms.
"I c-can't br-breath." I said between gasps. We all pull apart. We all began to walk down to where the boys were when a waiter, I'm guessing, pulled me back.
"What the fuck." I say turning to face him. Erin. My eyes go wide and quickly walk away back to Shania.
