*Well, here it is. The last chapter of Dark Ashton. I can't believe it, wow. Should I make a sequel? Maybe Dark Ash returns? Sorry it has taken so long for me to update, I wanted this last chapter to be the best. It will have two parts, so I guess its technically two chapters left, but whatever. I posted the first chapter to Dark Luke, so check that out. Its titled "Beautiful Lies" and yeah, its a dark Luke story. Anyway, thanks for loving my work, I love all of you.- Reagan**
Part 1
I froze. Ashton sat up, peeling my arms off his body. His head cocked to the side.
"C'mon out and play." The voice sneered, and I whimperd, curling into Ashton's side.
"Brie." We locked eyes. "I wont let anything hurt you."
He used his thumb and wiped away a lone tear threating to edge of my cheek. I kissed his palm and he climbed off the bed. He pulled on a shirt and some black skinny jeans, and began to exit down the stairs. I let more tears fall and stood up. I listened to the front door open and let out a pent up sob. This was it. Everything was ending now. I was going to die. But worse then that, Ashton was going to die. In a few short weeks, Ashton had become ky best friend. He listened to me talk, and held me late a night. He made me smile and laugh, and he always did the right thing in the end. Most importanly, he loved me. I needed that. My back slide down the wall and I let the sounds of a conversation outside fill my eyes. I could tell who was who in the conversation, but I stopped listening when I heard the sound of a body hit the pavement. I clutched my ears, screaming. I choked on my tears, standing up and wandering the house. Curses filled the front walk, and when I glanced out the window all I could see was blood and light. It was obvious that it was Jonathon out there, and that Ashton was probably losing. I noticed a sleek object to my left and had an idea. I grabbed it, and flung open the door. Jonathon had Ashton in a head lock, and Ashton was doing his best to get away.
"Stop!" I screamed, drawing attention to myself. Both pairs of eyes landed and me and Ashton mouthed 'no' and sobbed under Jonathon's control. I held up the gun and placed it on my temple.
"If you kill Ashton, I kill myself. Then youre left with nothing. Who cares if we lose? You'd be losing aswell." My breathe came out in barely a whisper, and Ashton grunted in frustration.
"Brie" He choked. "Dont do it."
"Let the girl talk, Ashton!" Jonathon chuckled darkly. He released Ashton, who fell over in a heavy breathing pile. He scrambled to his feet, reaching for me, but Jon's men held him back. By now, I was face to face with Jonathon, and he sneered at me.
"Put the gun down, sweetheart."
"No."
"Oh, but I want to compromise with you."
My courage wavered and I locked eyes with Ashton. All he did was nod. Does a nod mean do it, shoot yourself, or do it, make the compromise? I took a lucky guess and let my arm fall limp to my hands.
"I'll let Ashton go... if you come home with me. We could get along quite well."
"Anything" I blurted. "Anything to keep Ashton safe."
"Good choice." His men shoved Ashton to the ground, and he dragged his limp self over to me, grabbed my face and kissed me hard. We let go of eachother when I was shoved in the back of a black car, and I stared him down as we pulled away. He mouthed aomething, i believe it was.
"I'll get you back."
