The rest of the day we watched football and then I spent the night in Lauren’s room. The next morning, we woke up and all drove back to my house to see my dad. Nathan and I had only been together for a week but, we wanted to get “meeting the parents” over with so, we visited mine first. When I got back home, Josh answered the door and gave me a huge hug. I then saw Brandon rush towards the door. He had drum sticks in his hand. My dad wasn’t home from work so we all sat down on the couches and waited for him. When I heard him come in, I ran to the door and gave him a hug. He was happy to see me, I could tell by how hard he squeezed me in the hug. As we walked into the family room side by side….
Dad: Who are all these people?!
Me: Well, you know Bryan, Jacob and Lauren but, these 5 boys are very important people, especially one of them!
Dad: Oh?
Me: Yes (Nathan standing up and coming towards us)! Dad this is Nathan, he’s my boyfriend.
Nathan: Hello Mr. Russett!
Dad: Call me George, nice to meet you son (shaking hands)!
Nathan: Nice to meet you too!
Me: Now, these four are Jay, Tom, Max and Siva.
Dad: Hello lads (shaking hands with the boys one by one)!
Boys: Hello!
Dad: So, princess, tell me what makes these boys so special!
Me: Well, daddy, these boys are The Wanted!
Dad: Are they?!
Me: Yes dad, you know that song you like…… Lose My Mind?
Dad: Those are these fine, young men?!
Me: Yes dad!
Dad: Well, welcome to the family lads!
Max: Thank you!
I saw my brothers come around the corner and give me a look saying “do we get to meet them?” I waved them over and smiled.
Me: Boys, these are my brothers, Josh and Brandon.
Josh: Hello lads!
Tom: Hello, how are you mates (shaking hands)?!
Brandon: Good, yourself?!
Tom: Good.
Dad: You boys like Football?!
Tom: Love it!
Dad: Man City and Man United are playing right now, shall we watch?!
Nathan: We shall!
Dad: Who are you fans of?!
Max: I’m a City fan.
Nathan: I’m a United fan.
Dad: You know you’re Football son!
Nathan: You just can’t go wrong with United!
Dad: You’re 100% right son!
As I watched Nathan and my dad talking, a smile grew on my face as I saw how well they were getting along. It made me happy to see them getting on well. I didn’t see or notice Josh come up behind me until he spun me around.
Josh: Come on, let’s talk for a minute.
Me: Alright. Nathan, I’ll be back.
Nathan: Ok babe.
I followed Josh upstairs to his room and he closed the door behind him and I sat down on the bed and he sat on his computer chair.
Josh: So, where have you been?
