Rey looked relieved. Finn looked happy. Han looked pleased with himself. I was astonished. Rey engulfed me into a hug that was oddly comforting. I think she could sense how overwhelmed I was.
"I can't believe I never put the pieces together when you first told me about your family." She mumbled into my hair, "How could I be so stupid?"
My mouth couldn't form words. It was dry, my eyes were brimming with tears, my stomach flipped. Too much information at once.
"Violet," She said quietly, "It really is you. I remember now. Father said they named you Violet for the rare and ancient flower that's only found on certain planets. He said that violets are sweet and gorgeous, with a wild, vivid flare to them."
"Sounds like me." I said meekly.
Rey laughed softly. "I've found you. I'm never letting you go again."
I smiled in her arm, not wanting this moment to end. I was finally reunited with family after all of these years. It felt like a weight had been lifted off of my shoulders.
The ship jolted to the left, having something hit the side of it. Rey immediately let go of me, running up to a window. I will admit, I felt a little selfish for a moment, wanting her to come back and sit with me.
"TIE fighters," She scowled, muttering a few curse words under her breath, "Han, you steer. I'll co pilot." Chewbacca growled. "Chewy, you can work the front blaster, Finn you work the back one's. Violet, you watch the monitor. Tell us where their coming from."
"Don't call him Chewy!" Han exclaimed, rolling his eyes.
Rey shot him daggers.
I nodded as we all dispersed. I fumbled to untangle a headset to communicate with Finn and Chewbacca. BB-8 beeped at me.
"Yes I know what I'm doing," I shot at the droid angrily, "Just let me put the headset on."
He beeped some more and rolled down the hall to Finn. I shook my head at him; what an attitude that thing had! I pushed a button and the monitors lit up. It took me a second to figure out how to work the screen, but I quickly understood.
"TIE fighters, to the left of you Finn," I spoke calmly into the headset. I would not loose my sanity, even though I was petrified.
"Got it!" He called back, shooting at them. They both went down.
"Chewbacca, to your right," I said, raising my voice, "Chewbac--"
Rey swerved the ship violently. I fell onto the ground, thudding onto the cold, hard floor.
"Ouch," I muttered, wincing.
"I thought I was the pilot!" Han practically yelled.
"Well, you were going too slow! If I didn't turn, we would've been hit dead on!" She growled at him.
"Don't yell at your uncle like that!" He hissed.
I looked up from the ground. Uncle!? I had forgotten Luke and Leia were twins, and that Han had married her. Good lord. Complete and utterly awkward silence filled the ship.
Rey smacked a button on the motherboard before anyone could say anything. We made a crash landing on a random planet.
"Thank god," Han muttered. "It's the Resistance base."

"Leia," Han greeted, engulfing her in a hug. I stood slightly behind Rey, taking in her features. She was just as the books described her, only older. Much older.
She smiled kindly, examining us.
"You didn't tell me you were bringing along a whole group of people." She whispered loudly.
"Well," He said, taking a breath, "These two girls are special." He gestured to Rey and I.
Suddenly shy, I scooted behind Rey completely, glancing up at her with scared eyes from behind Rey's back. I may have been fierce, but I could become mute in about 5 seconds flat.
"This is Rey," He spoke slowly, "And this, is Violet." I watched Leia's eyes widen as she gasped.
"It couldn't be," she rambled, astonished, "Could it?"
Rey smiled sweetly and extended her hand to shake. Leia pulled her into a hug instead.
"Look how you've grown! My, you're an adult now! And you," she said, pointing to me, "Are just a gorgeous little lady, aren't you?"
I smiled sheepishly, watching BB-8 roll around. Finn put his hand on my shoulder. "Don't be fooled," He chuckled, "She may be quiet now but this girl has quite the sassy side, don't you squirt?"
My eyes widened.
"So does that one." Han pointed his thumb at Rey.
"Excuse me," I retorted, my regular self coming back, "Did you just call me squirt?"
Leia smiled fondly. "You've got the Skywalker genes, that's for sure. We're all a little feisty."

"You and Rey can stay in this room," Leia said, gesturing to a room with two beds, "We have a night guard that'll most likely startle you. He's harmless, but comes out of nowhere, and is usually in your face."
We said our good nights and turned in for the night. A knock came from the door as I was pulling the covers down on the bed.
"Can you get that?" Rey said with a mouthful of toothpaste, "I'm in the middle of something."
I scrunched up my face at her as I walked towards the door. Finn stood in the doorway.
"BB-8 wanted to say goodnight," told me, looking across the room at Rey.
I crossed my arms. "You don't speak droid, stupid."
His face contorted as he realized he had been caught in his lie. I followed his gaze and realized he was staring at her. I smiled smugly.
"You like her, dont you?" I teased.
He snapped out of his trance and looked down at me. "Um-er-uh- I don't know what you're talking about. Night squirt." He rambled quickly, rustling my hair.
I pulled away, smoothing back the now flying everywhere pieces of hair. "Don't call me that! It isn't my name." I scowled.
He laughed, turning around. "Scowls don't suit you, squirt."
I raged. "Don't call me that!"
He waved his hand, walking down the hall with the droid. "Whatever, squirt."
