The Time You Run Away

Omniscient P.O.V.

It has been so long since she witnessed that cold eyes.

She remembered the tragedy that happened to him.

The valid one.

'Esis, is it okay if I stay here?' Asked Rina as she stood beside Esis.

Yes, it has been a week in their childhood since his parents died in a car accident.

'Yes.' He answered coldly.

For him, the most unforgivable experience was to know your parents died.

'Everything will be fine' she comforted.

'No.' He said.

Esis knew she could never understand it.

She never knew.

She has no idea.

'I understand you Esis' she tried again.

'No. You don't' he contradicted.

'Why are you so hard to get it?' Then she started.

'Get what? Tell me?' He tried to keep his feelings not go into its limits.

But she kept on asking questions.

Questions that shoudn't be answered because the answer is already in his eyes.

Rina knew Esis was in pain that time, however she wanted him to umderstand that it was not the end of the world.

'Why can't you understand? ' she engaged him in the battle.

'Understand what? That my parents died? In a car accident? I could understand that, but I can't because it was my fault. It was me who killed them!'

'You did not want it, it was not your fault.'

'It was me who killed them, Rina. It was me. If only I listened to them, it would not happen. If only I stayed inside the house and not ran rebelliously, they would not die. Because they ran out of the house just to find me. And they knew I was in the hospital for minor degree burn. They hurried to reach me but They haven't come. They haven't because they alreadt died.'

'Esis ' a tear from her eyes fell as she listened to the detail.

'Now, will you still tell me everything is gonna be alright? It is not. Why are you crying? You don't understand me. You don't really know what I feel this time. I took myself out of the hospital to our house just to see my died parents. Lying in their coffins, the love on their smiles for me slowly fades in my memory as I recall, it was all my fault. '

'Esis, shhhhh. Stop crying. I am here.'

'You are here but I am lonely. '

'We can still start a new day.'

'What?? Are you crazy? Start a new day? Please. You arr just irritating me. Nothing is painful than having your parents died and knowing that it was your fault why they died. '

'Esis,'

'Do not talk, just leave me alone'

He shouted at her and he saw teardrops fell. Then he ran through the backdoor.
