Sounds of horror and filth echos through the alleyways of Kameentra. A place known for massive crime and dirty streets, to beautiful cities. It didn't always use to be that way, used to be beautiful place where everyone was rich and buildings stretched high into the blue skies. But now the once clean streets are cluttered with drugs and rape. And the sides of buildings are graffitied to the point you can't even see the bright white paint that used to be underneath it.
During the day the streets are still, but at night they are filled with prostitutes, the strong smell of death and drugs. Hard to believe people still live here, but if you're poor you have no other choice. You're either Filthy rich, or penniless. And if you just so happened to be, you lived here. At the bottom of the food chain waiting to be devoured by the people living at the top of the world. Just when you think it could get any more faulty, a person's soul is much like a spirit animals, or Soul Spirits, this animal protects them when in danger. When that happens a person can grow horns or ears depending on their animals. Soul Spirits usually animals that range from dolphins to birds, fictional and nonfictional. That was the one thing that made this planet stand out from every other one. Even though everyone from each planet all looked like the extinct 'human'. They each had something special that made them stand out. Quintel had their big colorful fashion, while Artemis had the most advanced technology in the last 2000 years. But they all had their problems.
Kameentra has a 'soul trafficking' problem to go along with everything else. 'Soul trafficking' is something like 'human trafficking' but instead of taking people and selling them for sex or worse. Traffickers murder the person on spot not even leaving a chance for their Soul Spirits to help, all they can do is float out of their body and try to reach out to some other Soul would help, to heal them. But alas this is dangerous when Souls merge to heal with another, if it not done right and they merge incompletely, then the mutated Soul will float back into the still breathing person and they well become a mutant. Two parts animal, one part human. The trafficker will either keep the soul for themselves or go on the black market and sell the soul for drugs or money. The rarer the soul animal is the more money they get. But dealers don't actually know what they are used for after they are collected, so it's rare if they do keep them for themselves.
