Lily Evans Surprise

Chapter 1
The surprise

"Mummy! Daddy! Look, look!" Screamed Lily. For only eleven years of age, she was tall. Her fiery red hair blowing in the light breeze, as she sprinted across the grass towards her house. A letter clutched in her small hand,inside was a letter that read "Dear Lily Evans.
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry. Please find enclosed list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later then July 31."
There was also 1 more letter inside. About what she needed.
"Lily, darling what is it!?" Her mother yelled dashing out to her. Her father close behind.
"I was in the garden, when a tawny owl landed next to me and dropped this letter! With my name on it!" She said sounding excited...
Her mother went to reach out for the letter but Lily's father was to quick. He had already snatched it up and demanded Lily to open it. As she did so Lily's younger sister Petunia Evans ran into the crowded kitchen, which was where they were.
"What's THAT" she yelled looking offended.
Lily's father took the first letter and read it, as he did so his eyes slowly grew wider. He handed the letter to his wife and starred at Lily. Speechless. Lily starred back, she had not read the letter yet. Petunia was standing on tip toes behind her mother trying to catch a glimpse of what the letter said.
"Y-your a w-witch?!?!" Lily's mother exclaimed, "you, our daughter is magical!" She yelled a smile spreading her face, ear to ear.
Petunia glared at Lily as her parents hugged her, it was like she never existed...
