Last year of Hogwarts
"James sucks!"
"He's not that bad!" Lily fought.
"Oooo... Lilys got a crush! Lily's got a crush! Lily's got a crush!" The other girls joined in the chant.
It was late at night and they where sitting in the Griffindor common room studying, there Newts were soon.
"Guys... We need to study. We aren't all as smart a Lily!" Jane said yawning, "she did excellent in her O.W.L's a few years ago... What did you get again?" She said scratching her chin as a light breeze blew in from the open window casting shadows from the moon over the floor.
"Um... Outstanding for Potions, Outstanding for Muggle Studies, Exceeds expectations for Transfiguration and... I forgot the rest!" Lily said tying her hair in a bun.
"You passed all, got 'Outstanding' for them all apart from Transfiguration. You would never fail Potions! Slughorn wouldn't let you! He loves you!" Jane giggled watching Lily.

The next day James seemed to be near Lily a lot. He seemed to keep checking where she was, somehow he escaped Remus, Sirius and another guy that seemed I think he was cool hanging out with them... The same one that had asked her out (the boy with buckteeth) when they were younger.
Finally, when Lily as walking alone in a corridor (apart from James) he approached her. It seemed that he had Ben waiting all day to talk to her.
"Hey! Lil's!" He said speeding up and waving his hands frantically, as if she couldn't see him.
"I can see you!" She growled.
"D-Do ya... Um," he seemed to be out of breath. "Do ya wanna b-be my girlfriend?" He asked running a his fingers through his hair.
'OMG! I really like him... ' Lily thought...
"This isn't a dare?" She she said crossing her arms, he was known to ask other girls when it was a dare, "A dare from Sirius?"
James grinned at the mention of his name. "No... Not a dare..."
Lily took a step closer, "yes James..."
He took a step closer, smiling from ear to ear.
Next second he was hugging her, holding her, kissing her like she had never felt a man kiss. And she was kissing back. One of his hands on her shoulder, the other on her lower back.
Lily was holding him, both arms wrapped around his hips.
"LILY?!?" A voice screamed, followed by quick steps... "Cute!"
Lily and James broke apart. James shook his head, and blushed.
"See you round..." She mumbled waving and turning around.
"Why did you have to do that?!?" Lily whispered urgently once they (Jane and Lily) had rounded the corner.
Jane shrugged.
"I believe you have a future with him..." Lily blushed as she felt her stomach do a back-flip.
