I opened my eyes and it was still dark outside.
I checked the time on my phone and squinted at the light that blazed from the screen. When my eyes finally adjusted, I saw that it was at four in the morning.
Helen was still half on top of me.
I know she told me to stay, but if Luke found me here he would probably do something that will not let me reproduce in the future.
Helen shifted so she was laying on her back, her head slowly slid off my chest and rested on my bicep.
I carefully lifted her head with my free hand and took my arm out. I sat up and swung my legs off. I quietly put my shoes on. I slipped my hoodie over my head and adjusted my beanie.
I turned back and pulled the covers over Helen, then I lightly kissed her lips.
"Good bye, beautiful," I whispered.
I walked over the the window and opened it. I jumped out and landed in a bush.
"Fuck," I whispered.
I got out of the bush and started walking on the pavement. It was cold but I had my hoodie on.
About ten minutes later I got back home. I quietly opened the front door and closed it behind me. I tip-toed up the stairs, trying not to make a sound. I reached my door and opened it.
Once I closed it I collapsed on my bed.
Today was a good day, tomorrow will be even better. And with that I fell asleep once again.
