I stepped on the gas pedal and raced out of the driveway. The tires squealed under the power I was putting on them.

Angry tears fell from my eyes. How can Calum think I'm cheating on him?

"I fucking knew I should have deleted those texts!" I shouted to myself.

I stopped at a red light and began hitting the steering wheel.

"Dammit Calum!" I screamed and rested my head against the wheel.

I remember his angry tone he had when he called my name. And how he looked away when I questioned him.

I told him the truth. The whole truth. I didn't lie to him or tell him 'It's not what it looks like.' I told him the damn truth.

Someone honked behind me, I looked up and the green light turned to red again. I sighed.

I rolled my window down. A car pulled up beside me.

"Pay attention next time!" He shouted.

I looked over.

"Oh fuck you!" I shouted before flipping him off.

I shook my head and reached over to get my phone but remembered I left it with Calum.

"Fuck."

The light turned green and I drove off.

I went to the only person I know who would hear me out, talk to me, and give me advice.

Adin.

The ride to the hospital was slow. I got a parking space and got out.

I speed walked to the lobby.

Before going to the elevator, the lady at the front desk gave me a visitor pass. I pressed my finger to the elevator's button and waited for it to close.

When the doors finally closed, I felt the elevator going up.

I had my head rested against the mirrored walls.

Ding!

I opened my eyes just as the doors opened. I stepped out of the elevator and went to Adin's door.

"Helen?"

I turned and Athena stood in front of me.

"Hi, Athena, is Adin awake?" I asked.

"Yea, he is, he's eating. Is everything okay?"

"I'm good. Just really need to talk to him."

"Well go on in, he won't mind."

I nodded and smiled before opening the door.

I stepped in and closed it behind me.

"Stupid goddamn dumb shit mother fucker," I said.

"Whoa, what happened?" Adin asked.

He had a bowl of fruit sitting in front of him. Guardians of the Galaxy was playing on the TV in his room, he pressed pause.

He looked better. Stronger. His eyes were wide open and for the first time he looked healthy again. His dark hair was pressed against his forehead.

"Why are you angry?" He asked.

He knew that when I was pissed off, I cussed a lot.

I exhaled.

"Feeling better?" I asked.
