"I can't believe you guys." I carry on with my rant.
"Holland, please just sit down and let us talk this through." My mom is somehow staying calm through all of this.
"Sit down? Enjoy a nice plate of noodles while I plan which suit case I'll pack all of my belongings into? No thanks." I walk out of the kitchen. I reach my bedroom and slam the door. I regret it because I know I'll be getting a lecture on my attitude later, but I couldn't care less at the moment.
xox_roden: UGH I HATE MY LIFE
dyl.pickle: rough dinner?
xox_roden: you don't know the half of it.
dyl.pickle: what happened?
xox_roden: because of my dads job, my family has to move half way across the country. I'm so mad. I thought I'd at least be able to graduate here.
dyl.pickle: damn Holl, that sucks.
xox_roden: it's gonna be the worst move of my life. I've been here so long.
dyl.pickle: where are you going to be moving.
xox_roden: that's the only possible good part of this.
dyl.pickle: ...?
xox_roden: we're moving to LA.
dyl.pickle: seriously?
xox_roden: so maybe there's a chance of us finally meeting for real.
xox_roden: but I can't think about that rn. All I can think about is the fact that I have to leave everything behind.
xox_roden: I made friends here. This was the first place I actually felt like I fit in. I just.. Idk.
dyl.pickle: Holland...
I shut my computer and lay on my bed. The anger flowing through me turns into sadness and starts pouring out of my eyes. Warm tears wet my cheeks.
I allow myself to lay there and just cry everything out of my system. Once the tears refuse to come out, I wipe off my face and re-open my computer.
I reluctantly ignore the messages from Dylan piled into my notifications.
I click on Skype and make a four way call with Lex, Chrisy, Emily, and myself.
Lex doesn't pick up, but Chrisy and Emily do.
"Babe, what's wrong?" Chrisy asks with out me even saying anything.
"I.." I start, my head looking down, "I'm moving." I spit out.
"Moving where? You're still gonna go to school here, right?" Emily asks.
I feel a tear stream down my face. "No. I'm moving to California guys."
