The rippling sound of my fears echoed in my ears as the darkness surrounded me

It was then I knew I couldn't take it back

With trembling hands I reached to the sky only to see glow in the dark stars and a battery moon

It taunted me with the thought of being stuck in the galaxy covered in dismay

My feet were cold as I stood and as I stood I looked up once again and for each one of my fears, doubts worries and flaws was a single star

With every planet was a new level of distance

Each year represented my hell

And I knew I couldn't escape

I tip toed on the debris as my thoughts left me

each jagged piece ripped a new wound onto my scar covered body
