Chapter 7

Peeta's POV(Later that day at night)

I keep thinking about Bailey and what Katniss told me

When she told me i would make a good father and that i have to find the right girl

She didn't get it did she

When i told her i found someone i meant her

I knew i wanted to marry her and have a family with her when i first laid eyes on her

She's my whole life

I would do anything for her

But i don't think she likes me back

After all this thinking i fall into deep sleep

Katniss POV-Next day

I wake up to Bailey saying a name while crying but i can't really hear her

I groan and get out of bed and head to Prim's room where she sleeps for now

Once i get close i realize she's saying 'Peeta'

And my name

I walk inside and see she's awake, not having a nightmare

"Hey baby, it's okay"I say and walk over to Bailey and pick her up

"Wanna come with me to my room and go back to sleep?"I ask Bailey

I start walking to my room with a sobbing Bailey whispering, 'Katniss and Peeta'

"I mean it is 2 in the morning, we need sleep"

She just gurgles about something else now which gets me questioning why she was saying Mine and Peeta's name

When we get to me room i set her down by my side and lay down with her

I wrap my arm around her and soon she's fast asleep, I kiss her forehead then fall asleep myself(oml just pretend its a everlark moment)

Peeta POV-(Later at noon)

Right as I was going to do something, Finnick calls me

I go to my Phone and answer it

"Hello?"

"PEETIE!"Finnick yells

"Ouch"

"Hehe, sorry anyway I wanted to ask if you, Katniss, and Annie would like to go on a small road trip tomorrow?"

"Oh, wow i would love to.Want me to ask Katniss?"I asked kind of shocked that he's the one who suggested a road trip

But he's Finnick

"Sure"He says

"Ok, I'll call you later, bye"I tell him

"Bye"

And we hang up

I dial Katniss' phone number and call her

"Hello?"She says

"Katniss?, Finnick wanted to know if you will like to go to a little road trip tomorrow?"

"Oh wow, Sure i'll ask my mom if she can watch Bailey"She tells me

"Alright, See you tomorrow bye"

"Bye"

I text Finnick that Katniss agreed then get started packing

I forgot to ask him where we're going

But i guess it being a surprise is cool

It's been one hour and i'm done packing

I just lay in bed thinking about all the moments i'm going to have with Katniss , Finnick , and Annie

Tomorrow is going to be a big day
