I was slowly walking down the corridor. Avoiding people and their stares. Clutching my bag as it was my life source. Slowly heading to my locker when I stumbled pass some girls with so much make up on - it looked as if they had their morning shower in a bag of flour. I tripped over one's heel and landed hands first toppling over on the floor. The entire corridor seems to ring with laughter.
"OH -MY -GOSH!"
Her scream was quite dramatic. She was the one who ran into me. Purposely I suppose - her snicker was of a wolf. I tried to get up. Pitifully fruitless. Did I sprain my ankle? Doesn't seems like it.
"Look who we got here! The mental kid! No offence! Oh wait - I forgot. She doesn't have a brain. Malfunctioning was it?"
The girls were laughing. Others roaring of course. I stared at her blankly, from the floor. She took a while to recover and when she noticed I wasn't even bothered just staring at her blankly, hit her nerve.
"OH- MY! Why you little cree-"
She was cut short as somebody helped me up. My ankle seems fine. Must have been the shock. I didn't bother to look who was helping. I picked up my bag and was about to walk away when that person got hold of my arm and spoke.
"Girls! Cut it out! Are you okay? Nowhere's hurt right?"
I didn't look up and just shook my head telling no.
"I am sorry about them. Anyways - I am Galent Haex Alzoa."
He extended his hand to shake letting go of my arm. I could have done nothing. I could have just walk away like usual. But I was curious about his name. Familiarity.I shook it and slowly looked up at the person. I shuddered inside out. I was horrified to the bone. I tried to pull my hand back but the person tightened the grip. The brows knitted on the fair face. Eyeing me suspiciously. Maybe can't remember my face. After all it was a long, long time ago. I tried to smile a little. It worked! The person let go of my hand.
"You are the girl who tripped at the airport! I knew you looked familiar."
More than just fammiliar.
"Stop tripping will you. This is the second time!"
More than a second time.
"Mind where you step."
The same warning of 'them'.
"Nice to meet you here too. See ya! Girls get going now. Lets go."
The person waved at me and left. I was drawn deeper into my coffin. It's here. Right in front of me. Bidding time. Going for its kill.
The same warning of you.
Meet you here - too.
It's here.
