"My - my, can't stop myself com'n towards you. Speak once that's all."
Jany Grim stared at me hopefully, sitting on the chair in front of my desk facing me. Her flaxen hair flowing down her shoulders, with perfectly matching blue eyes she looked like a doll.
"I'm trying to make friends here!"
Her sarcasm was obvious. I simply looked at my book covering my face. Suddenly someone grabbed my book. I looked at that person, and was about to scold when I remembered, You must keep your mouth shut if you want your dad alive girl. Non- spoken, he is safe. We both know you have an intelligent head on your shoulders. Don't try any tricks. That'll do your mom too.
That raspy voice.
I can never be the same again.
I closed my mouth quickly. Jany's hopeful smile shattered into pieces.
"Interesting book you got here."
Jim started to turn the pages of my book.
"You must really love your neat, nothing written book."
He showed me, my empty book with a big smirk on his face. I just kept starring blankly.
"Girl, you are hard. Never met one before. C'mon Jim. Out to canteen."
Jany pushed pass Jim and went out. Jim just kept starring at me. Awkward. He smiled, waved at me and ran out. Sudden.
