From The Beatles: Book 2 {COMPLETED}

#12: Ringo

Imagine being at the library, isolated and at peace. You were working late and was ready to go home. You were about to turn the open sign to close until someone knocked on the door. You side opening the door, anxious to already go home.

"I know you're about to close but you could you help me with something real quick love?" A man with an English accent asked. He has brown locks, a big nose, and beautiful blue eyes.

"Sure, what can I help you find?" You asked using your manners.

"Where I can take a lovely bird like you out to dinner." He said taking his coat off. You giggled, your cheeks turning red.

"And who is this lovely mans name?"

"Ringo, Ringo Starr."

It hit you with realization, Ringo! From the Beatles! You really weren't interested in going out on dates but how could you say no to a Beatle?!

"Well mister Starr, I'm y/n. How about the cafe down the street? I'm not the girl for pubs."

"Well I like that about you. After you." He smiled, holding the door for you.

You had a wonderful date with Ringo, finding out you had a lot in common. You felt like you actually had a friend again. After leaving the cafe, you thanked Ringo for dinner and headed your separate ways.

*Three Weeks Later*

You and Ringo have been talking for three weeks, already having a liking for one another. Saturday night, you were gonna stay in and binge on your favorite tv show. About to turn on the first episode, you get a phone call.

"Hello?"

"It's Ringo. I need to speak to you. Now."

"Can this wait-"

"No it can't...I need to tell you something. I'll be over soon."

The phone went dead.

"What is so important you need to tell me?" You asked, kinda worried he didn't want to see you anymore. You've enjoyed weeks going out and spending time with Ringo, and you didn't want it to end since the feelings grew stronger.

Ringo took a deep breath, "These past weeks have been great. You're a beautiful, understanding, kind friend and I wanted to tell you that....I have feelings for you y/n. When I'm around you, I always get this warm feeling inside. I love you."

You smiled, "I wish you would've told me sooner."

You pressed your lips to his, smiling within. You loved Ringo, and you weren't denying it. You wanted to be with him, and now you could be.

A/N: I tried to think of something. I'm home with a stomach ache and all of that but I needed something to do. So expect things to get done today!
