Imagine getting a text from John, your best friend across the universe who loved to spend time with you. Well, mostly text as I should say. Ever since you got phones (let's just pretend they had iPhones/androids or whatever phone back then) he's been texting you almost every day.

You put your phone down, only it going off again immediately. You were trying to get ready for a night that John planned, which you didn't know what. All you got was a text saying to wear something formal earlier that day. You picked up your phone, seeing John actually wants to reply this time.

What was up with John? It just seems like...he likes you? Does he? You weren't sure not to ask him or if you even should. You hesitated about the next text to send, actually pacing around your bedroom wondering what you should say. Should I ask? Or will it ruin the friendship?
So you sent him this:

You put your phone down, afraid of what he would say. You heard your phone go off, lunging towards it as you fell on your carpet. You opened your phone reading the text so fast. You were relieved at what he said, replying quickly.

"NO! IS HE?!" You squealed. You were waiting for this moment for forever. You have liked John since school and surprisingly haven't got over him in a while. You paste around your room once again, too excited to even say anything else to him. You knew this night couldn't get any better than this.
You typed fast, tempted to move things quickly. You just wanted to see John already, to be in his embrace, to finally kiss him, to finally be with the boy of your dreams.
This was the last text you and John sent before putting your phone in your purse:

You stepped out of your house, meeting his eyes as he leaned against his car. You'd never seen any happier being around someone for seconds. You couldn't await for your surprise.
You smiled, "So about those texts."
