For how much stress has been put on Ringo and the band, it's nice to do something for him.

Imagine being in your lovely home in Liverpool, jamming out to your husband's band cooking dinner. Sounds about right. Well since Ringo wasn't home yet, you had plenty of time to blast the radio as loud as you wanted to. You sang and danced as you were chopping potatoes. Getting so caught up in the music and having your own party in the kitchen you heard the radio go off.

You walked out of the kitchen to the living room, Ringo was home. You noticed how Ringo didn't even come to say hi, only that he took off his shoes and tie, walking down the hall. You weren't going to let this get to you, considering he's been working hard lately.

You let the food set as you walked down the hall to your shared bedroom. You quietly opened the door, poking your head in.

"You hungry?"

Ringo looks up from the television, "Yeah I am. You couldn't believe how much we did today."

There's your Ringo.

You smiled, "Well come tell me about it. I know it's gotta be bottled up inside."

"So there we were setting up and bam! My bass drum starts rolling through the building!"

You tried to hold in your laughter, "How could that happen?"

Ringo sighed, "The boys just like to mess with me. I-I don't know. I'm full. I think I'm gonna go to bed-"

"Wait wait." You say, grabbing his hand.

"Carry me."

"Why?" Ringo laughed.

Your jaw drops, "Richard Starkey. I used to mess with you all of the time when we dated. Remember? We were looking at the stars and you thought you lost your engagement ring to give me?"

"Yeah I do." He nods.

"It's just playing, I had it on the whole time."

"What does this have to do with John and Paul?"

"Well." You say, "Remember the lyrics to A Hard Day's Night?"

"Yeah."

"Just play it out...on me." You wink.

Ringo smirked, "Sounds fine to me."

You laughed as Ringo picked you up, and carried you to the bedroom.

But when I get home to you, I find the things that you do, that make me feel alright ;)

A/N: Trying! Writer's block isn't easy to get away. There was this pic of a block with a smile saying writers block on it. "I'm going to crush your spirit," it said. Sounds about right. Trying like I said!
