My stomach gets butterflies.

"I-I'm going to Kaplan?"

A big grin forms on his face,"yeah! And for A Capella!"

I rush into his arms and he holds me. I can't believe I'm actually going.

"When does it start?"

"2 weeks! We need to pack."

I laugh," 2 weeks is a while, but I'm excited to, so why not?"

I go to text Kirstie, but then remember that were in a fight.

I should already have forgotten about her since it was 5 months ago, but I guess I just got excited.

..

"Holy hell its big!" I exclaim as the car comes to a halt.

"Yeah, no kidding. Jesus God."

He grabs my hand as we head into the building.

"Names?" A lady, maybe 26, with long brown beautiful hair asks us.

"Uh, Scott Hoying and Mitch Grassi." Scott answers for me.

"Oh! Here you are. Follow me to your dorms."

"Are we, uh, In a same dorm together?"

She looks down to check and gives us a small sympathetic look. "No sweetie. I'm sorry."

Anxiety fills me, I'm not with Scott? Fuckfuckfuck.

I can tell he's trying to calm me down because of the look he's giving me.

..

SCOTT P.O.V.

"I'll be by your dorm later, okay Mitchy?" I tell him

He nods, still worried. I hate leaving him but I need to unpack first.

I put my key into the door and open it.

There's a tall, brunette boy laying on a bed.

He gets up and extends his hand. "Hey, I'm Dallas."

I get butterflies in my stomach. Everywhere.

No nononono. I can't get butterflies. I'm in a relationship. No.

I snap back into reality and shake his hand. "I'm Scott, Scott Hoying."

"Nice to meet you. Well I'm uh, clearly you roommate." He plops back onto his bed and back onto his phone.

I begin to unpack my stuff and organize it the best I can.

"So, what are you interests?" Dallas asks me.

MITCHS P.O.V.

"Anddddd here's your room, Mr.Grassi." I nod at her and open my already unlocked door.

There a kinda tall? Guy putting up posters on his side of the walls.

"Oh. Hey sorry. My names Kevin Olusula. Yours?"

I stifle a laugh and continue the conversation, "uh, Mitch Grassi. Your my roommate, right?"

He turns back to put the last poster up and nods his head. "Mhhnnn. So, I'm guessing your doing A Capella?"

"Yeah, how'd you know?"

He smiles a warm, welcoming smile. "They try and put people of the same interest in dorms together." He informs me.
