After we had finished breakfast we started to explore the island.
We where about to head out when Kathryn said. "Look I think I see someone on the beach"
"Really let me see"
"It's mom!" We both screamed !! We ran out of the jungle and straight to the beach.
She was walking very slowing and seemed very sad and tired. But when she saw us she ran towards us with a smile on her drowsy face.
"Mom!"
"Girls I'm so glad y'all are safe!"
"We are too"
We all laugh, then we realize where are Katy and Korey?
"Mom?" I asked. "Where are Katy and Korey?"
There was a moment of silence when she finally said.....
"They didn't make it out of the boat crash alive" She answered my question. But not the way I wanted to hear it.
Neither did the Mckinleys or the Swearts.
My 2 siblings were gone, and all my closest friends all I had left was my sister and my mom.
We were now together but still alone.
