The Disney Mermaids

Rapunzel

"It's the full moon in a few days. We should do something,"Elsa said.
Anna came into the moon pool singing a song.
"We shall be together,
We can be bright.
We can be together,
We shall stand underneath the moon light.
For the first time in forever,
Friends are in my light.
So for the first time in forever,
For the first time in forever,
Nothing will keep us away."
"I live your singing!!" Rapunzel said.
"Thank you!!" Anna said.
"Oh Anna!!" Elsa cried,hugging her.
"Shall we swim?? Like around the sea and maybe get some shells??" Merida asked her friends.
"Ok. Let's go!!" Rapunzel smiled.
They all dived into the water...

Rapunzel was looking around the ocean. She found a small pebble and a piece of coral. She searched around the sea and saw a dolphin swim past.
She laughed and followed it. The dolphin let her stroke it and let her see her young infant as well.
They soon went as the mother had to feed her young and teach it how to swim properly.
Rapunzel went along the rocks and picked out a few pearls that caught her eye. She then saw an unusual looking piece of coral. It was glowing and it was a different colour from all the rest. Rapunzel thought it looked pretty and decided to show her friends it.
She swam off and met her friends. They swam back to the castle...

They all gathered the shells. They found lots and they all made some bracelets and necklaces. They were all having fun but then Rapunzel started to feel warm. She began to feel weak.
"I think I might go and lie down," she said as she went out of the room.
"Are you OK??" Asked Merida,stopping.
"Yes I'm fine. I feel a bit warm. It's probably a fever," Rapunzel said.
They slowly began to do there work.
"Rapunzel!!" Olaf cried from the corridor ahead, a few seconds later.
The girls ran out of the lounge and soon found a white weak Rapunzel lying on the ground...

"What's happened??" Merida asked.
"I don't know!!" Elsa said,running up to her cousin,"It must have been her fever!! What will we do??"
Anna was sitting next to Rapunzel crying. Olaf comforted her.
"I'll call a doctor," Merida said.
"Oh Rapunzel!! What happened?? A fever has never been as bad as this!!"
"Rapunzel!!" Anna cried,"What's going to happen??"
"I'm not sure Anna," Elsa said,comforting her and hugging her.
"Hello. I would like the doctor to see us... Any doctor will do but its an emergency!!" Merida was explaining all the details.
"Rapunzel. Don't worry. We are here," Elsa and Anna said.

The doctor came with two nurses.
"I don't know what has happened. Nothing seems to match!!" A nurse said.
"What happened the last time she was seen??" The doctor asked.
"She was making bracelets with us.
And she said she would gave a rest because she might have a fever and then she fainted!! Olaf saw her faint!!" Anna cried.
"She was swimming before,collecting some shells," Elsa added.

"Olaf," The doctor said.
"Yes!!" Olaf saud.
".... Er..." The nurse was abit surprised to see a live snowman!!
But the doctor wasn't as everyone in the village knows him (the nurse was new you see.)
"Olaf. Explain in detail what you saw happen to Rapunzel please,"The doctor said,frowning.
"Well... I was wandering around the corridor when I saw Rapunzel come out of the living room. I came over to her as she walked. She didn't look right. She was sad and she looked Ill. She said she had a fever and that I shouldn't worry but I did. She stopped and held her head. I stopped and helped her and then she fainted!!"
Olaf explained in full detail.
"Thank you," The doctor said.
"Now while we sort out what's going on,you will have to wait outside."

Elsa,Anna,Merida and Olaf went out of the room and sat down.
Anna and Elsa were crying and hugging each other. Merida and Olaf comforted them.
Soon,Gerda came and the four friends explained what happened to Rapunzel. Gerda gasped and looked as if she would cry.
"I can't see anything!! I don't understand!! There is definatley something wrong with her but we can't tell what caused it!!" The doctor complained.
"We are going in a different room,just to take a few tests on some things,"a nurse explained.
The other nurse explained what they would test. They had no machines so they had to do complicated stuff.
As the doctor and nurses went away,Elsa,Anna,Merida,Olaf and Gerda went to see Rapunzel.
"Do you know what's wrong with her??" Merida asked Gerda.
"I'm afraid not," Gerda said shaking her head and sighing.
"She went swimming," Elsa began,"Maybe it was something to do with that??"
"Good idea!!" Anna said,sniffing.
"You get the bag of shells she collected. And wear gloves!!" Gerda said,"And fast!!"

After Elsa and Merida got the shells,Gerda looked at them.
Everyone were wearing gloves and raincoats to protect them.
Gerda looked at the shells, seeweed and coral carefully. She came to one piece if coral. It was glowing and different to all the other coral.
Gerda gasped.
"This coral is the thing that made her Ill!!" Gerda said.
"How can you tell??" Asked Anna.
"Well its different to all the other coral as you can see and its magic.
There's lots of coral that are magic but this one made her have a fever, this coral was originally designed by the Mermen hundreds of years and years ago!! They made it for the mermaids to make them feel ill and would soon fade away, the magic didn't work properly, instead it made the mermaids weak and ill forever. We all thought they didn't exist after mermaids and Mermen came back into harmony, bug there must have been one left!! We need to help Rapunzel fast!!" Gerda exclaimed.
Merida gasped, half worried about what would happen, half shocked about all her knowledge!!
"Oh no!!" Elsa said,"Is there anything to cure her??"
"Yes. There's this type of antidote.
It's a good job I have some potion equipment!!" Gerda said, reaching a drawer. She opened it and brought out a set of many potions.
Olaf started talking and asking lots and lots of questions.
"Be quiet please. I must concentrate!!" Gerda said calmly.
"Ok," Olaf whispered.

Gerda put a mixture of things in the create her antadote.
This was a list of the ingredients she put in (in order!!)

*three strips of seeweed.
*a spoonfull of blue moon stones.
*a sprinkle of mermaid glitter.
*two pieces of red coral.
*a tablespoon of jelly powder.
*a moon pebble.
*a piece of sea moss.
*a pinch of topaz jewels.
*a teaspoon of a greeny blue potion.
*a tear drop.

Everyone put in their tear for good luck and hope.
Rapunzel was looking really weak.
Her skin was pale.
Gerda mixed these ingredients fast and it turned into a mushy green liquid.
"Ewww!!" Merida said,"Are you sure that's medicine?? It looks so so discussing!!!"
"Antidotes don't have to look good and look tasty in order for them to work.
It has to work and also its very nice. I had it before!!" Gerda explained.
Elsa tilted Rapunzel's head slightly to make it easier for her to drink it.
Gerda put it inside Rapunzel's mouth carefully and slowly.

The friends watched in hope to see if Rapunzel was better. Nothing happened. They waited.
Rapunzel's eyes started to open just as the doctor and nurses came in.
"I feel alot better now!!" Rapunzel said happily.
"Was she awake that long??" The doctor asked.
"Not at all. She just opened her eyes!!" Anna smiled.
"I feel much better!!" Rapunzel said.

The doctor and nurses stayed for another hour and twenty minutes to check if Rapunzel was definitely OK.
She was.
"Thank you for helping me!!" Rapunzel smiled after the doctor and nurses left.
"It was Gerda who did mostly everything," Merida said.
"She created an antidote!!" Elsa said.
"Anna laughed," I'm so glad you are back!!" She hugged Rapunzel.
"Thank you Auntie!!" Rapunzel hugged Gerda.
"It was nothing really. It was a good job it worked!!" Gerda giggled.
"You saved my life!!" Rapunzel said,"It means more than something!!"
She reached in her dress pocket and took out a pearl and shell bracelet.
"This is a thank you," she said.
"No. You keep it," Gerda smiled.
"You deserve it!!" Rapunzel laughed,putting on Gerda's wrist.
"Thank you!!" Gerda cried.
"I have quite a story to tell Eugene tonight after he comes home with Kristoff haven't I??" Rapunzel asked.
Everyone laughed and went to swim into the moonpool...
