Flashback

Gerda's POV
I'm now queen of the ocean. I've only had my tail for two years and now I'm a queen.
I wandered around the ocean, when I met an octopus - like sea creature.
"Hi Ursula," I said.
Ursula is my best friend. She is young, slightly older than me.
She was slightly on the chubby side, but not too fat. She was purple. She had fair white hair that went down to her elbows.
She had an evil - like smile on her face and was laughing.
"Do you think that was good enough for my part in the under water show??" She asked,"I'm meant to be the villain of the story."
"You did great," I said, hugging her.
"Thank you," she said,"You will come to it right??"
"Of course," I smiled.
We linked arms and went to my palace.

"Your majesty,"said one of the house workers, bowing before me.
I curtsied.
"Hello Sebastian," I said, swimming to him.
Sebastian is a red crab who works for me. He's my advisor. He's the one who made me queen.
"Good day your majesty," Said Sebastian, bowing.
"I'm going upstairs now with Ursula," I began,"Make sure the oceans are clear and out of harm. And tell all the workers that Ursula is here."
"Yes your majesty," Sebastian said.
He glared at Ursula.
He allwaysed had a thing about Ursula. He hated her, I don't know why, but he is fine that I'm her friend.

Me and Ursula went upstairs.
"Here," I said giving her a present.
"Thank you," smiled Ursula, opening it carefully.
"Oh thank you!!"
I gave her a necklace that had a golden shell in the middle.
"I made it myself. It's got magic in it!!" I exclaimed.
"Really??!!" She asked,"Let's try some!!"
"Let me tell you something. I made it, so it has good magic. If you.. You know... Do really bad things like turn evil, then it will have dark magic."
"I will never turn evil," she said,"I want to be good."
She put it on and there was a glow.
"Wow!!" She said.
I smiled at her appreciation.
"Why don't you go back to that place... Arendele and see your' childeren??" Asked Ursula.
"They won't believe it's me. The whole kingdom think that I've died in that shipwreck two years ago," I said, sad,"Anyway. They probably won't like me being a mermaid."
She held my hands.
"Anything is possible," She said.
I smiled at her kindness.
"What about that merman..... Erm your husband??" She asked
"I don't want to talk about him. I miss him so much," I said, sniffing.
"Don't worry," she said, hugging me,"He's only gone to the Eastern sea but he will come back in a couple of months."
I smiled and a few tears came.
She hugged me.
"Lets change the subject shall we??" She asked.
I nodded, wiping the tears away from my eyes.

"Look what I got today!!" She said, showing me her wrists.
There, on her right wrist, was a pink coral bracelet with a shell on it.
"Where did you get that??" I asked.
"A magic person gave it to me. I think she's called Maleficent," Ursula answered.
"Take it off," I said.
"No!! Why??" Ursula Shouted.
"Because.." I sighed,"Maleficent is bad news. She's the mistress of evil!! That's probably got dark magic, "I said.
"No. I trust Maleficent. She was an old family friend," Ursula smiled, shocked at what I said.
I smiled, but I wasn't happy. I was sad, whilst watching her playing with that bracelet.

"Your majesty. I'm so sorry to bother you, but there's a THIEF!!" Sebastian cried, as I woke up.
"What!!??" I asked, awake.
"We caught her. She tried to steal your crown."
I followed Sebastian to the guards, holding a woman.
I gasped,"Ursula??"
"Gerda, I'm sorry," Ursula cried.
"Why??" I asked.
I looked at her neckless I gave her, it didn't glow any more, which meant it had dark magic in it.
"It must have been the bracelet," I said, sighing,"I told you to take it off!! Maleficent is bad news!!"
"I felt evilness in me. Maleficent did it," Ursula said,"But I don't feel the evilness at all."
"That's a lie," I said, holding her neckless, "This isn't glowing, because it has dark magic. I think you're turning into a villain."
"No!! I can't be!!" Ursula Shouted.
"I'm sorry," I said crying,"But you staying here will be far too dangerous for this kingdom. I'm sorry, but you have to go out of this ocean."
Ursula was in tears now.
"You're joking," She said, looking at our angry, sad faces,"But.. You're my best friend!! What will I do without you??"
"I don't know. But come back when your' necklace is glowing. That means you are good," I said.
She shook her head.
"By royal commands, I command you to leave the kingdom," I said.
Ursula gasped and looked at the floor.
"I'm sorry but we will see each other someday," I said.
"Bye Gerda," Ursula whispered, hugging me tightly.
"Bye Ursula," I said, hugging back, but not for long,"Come back when you are good, a hero."
Ursula nodded.
She ripped the bracelet off and it landed on the ground.
I picket it up and looked at it.
She swam off.
"Sebastian, I don't think we will ever see you again, but go with her. You were right. I can't trust her till I know she's good. See where she goes," I said.
He looked sad.
"Yes your majesty," he said bowing.
"I'm going to miss you too. You were so kind to me all these years,"I said.
We shook hands and he went to Ursula, slightly scared.
"I'm not going to hurt you. Come on Sebastian," Ursula said.
They went off into the darkness.
I looked at my bracelet. She gave me it last year for my birthday. It was
blue-green with a coral lining. There was a shell in the middle. I cried and cried because I lost my best friend and Sebastian.

It was a few years later...
Sebastian write lots if messages in a bottle for me. He wrote about King Triton and his daughters.
He told me that he used to be a nasty King when he met him, but turned to be a really nice king and even brought music into the sea!!
He told me that Ursula used to work in the castle for King but got banished after trying to take the trident from the King. He told me many adventures about King Triton's daughter called Ariel, who wanders off to see the human objects and gets into trouble with her father.

Ursula wrote a few messages, but stopped after a while. She told me that her world was horrible, and that she misses me so much. She said she got banished and starving. I felt sorry for her. She said that one day we will see each other again.
She told me that she got banished and now everyone is afraid of her and hates her for who she is and started calling her "The Sea Witch."
That hurts me the most.
If I didn't banish her, then we would have been the happiest friends there ever was. But because I banished her, we were like something I can't describe. Enemies but friends.

I ruled the ocean and even went to the boarder, hoping Ursula would find the goodness inside her and come back to me....
But I never saw her again....
