We were on our way home with Hachi when we turned in a veteranian's office. I figured that we have to give Hachiko his shots and get his certificate that confirms he's my dog. They also have to give me a electronic device that tells me that I am level Z. As I get older and better, I will increase levels. When I get to level A, I get a perfect owner plaque. Hachi went crazy when he saw the needles. I had to hold him down. Poor Hachi. Once all the shots were done, the vet gave me pills that needs to be disintegrated in to his food. I have to do this until all this medicine is over. Trust me, ther's alot of pills.

We  then went to the front counter to fill out the forms and get my device. Who knew that adopting a dog could be so complicated? The vet, Mr Horpon, told me to go on to his website if I have any questions about what to do to take care of our new family member. I was soo syched to bring the dog home. I, litterally, jumped in to the car with Hachiko still in my hands. I really wanted to do was show Hachi to mom and take a new family photo. Then I want text my friends. This is the best birthday ever!!

We turned in to the driveway and I jumped out and well, I did what you usually do when you get home, I went inside. I made sure to hide Hahiko behind my back so I can surprise Mom. Mom acts like she read my mind.

"Hey sweety. Why don't you put the dog upstairs and come down for lunch," my mom exclaims while wiping her hands.

"Mom, he's not just a dog, he's part of our family now!"

"Okay, we'll talk during lunch."

"Fine. Just one second, let me put him upstairs."

I run upstairs carefully and put Hachi on his new bed. I made sure that he was near my bed so he doesn't feel so lonely at night. Then I run downstairs 'cause I'm REALLY hungry. We had meatloaf and ceasar salad. Deeelicious! Then I take my phone and carefully run back upstairs. Hachi was run around, exploring the room. When I went in, he ran under the bed. I wonder why?

"Hey Hachi, why don't you come out so I can give you some food?" I ask, as if I was talking to a human.

I take out the dog food and sprinkle some of the pill on to it. Then I mixed it so it's not very visible. I put it out and waited till Hachi came out and ate it. In that time, I texted Hoolah and told her I got Hachi. That was when he came out from under the bed and nuzzled against me. It's soo cute. I pushed the food toward him and he finally began to eat it.

*BEE DEEPPOO RRRING*

It was Hoolah, she texted me back.

Hoolah: Wow, that's great. when can i come c him?

I quickly get ready and put Hachi on a leash. He had just finished every bit of his food. I put on his new shoes and get a sweater. It gets chilly in October. I get my dog lover sweater and put a small Zippy bag of dog treats. Hachi was so excited to go outside. He practically pulled me outside. I love him soo much.

I lead him past the park and down the street to Hoolah's house. I rang the doorbell and I was able to hear Hoo running down the stairs. She opened the door and immediately turned her attention to Hachiko. And guessed what Hachi did? He jumped onto her lap and licked her face. I took my cellphone and took some pictures. It was soo cute. I am soo posting these on instagram!

We took Hachiko upsatirs and played with him. We were even able to teach him some tricks. Now he can sit, fetch and roll on command. He is such a smart dog. Then Hoo and I decided to go on the computer and skype some of our other friends. Hachi started to lick the screen when he saw the different people. He get along so well. That makes 4 friendly meetings, one with me, another with mom, other one with Hoolah and finally, all the meetings with our other friends on skype.
