I run home all by myself.. I was so angry and sad. I slam the door behind me and slowly walk in to the kitchen with eyes fillled with tears. My mom sees me and rushes over, her eyes filled with sorrow. I don't cry or get angry but if I do, it means something is terribly wrong.

"Oh sweety, what's wrong?" my mom asks sadly.

"Mom, can I go to my room?" I ask with a sahky voice. "And can you lock me up inside until I die?"

"Oh, honey, of course not. And where's Hachi?"

"That's why I'm here. Just let me go to my room!" I yell angrily.

"Ok, but I'm coming with you."

We both walk upsatirs and go to my room. My mom had to hold on to me since I was a little shaky. Then we began to talk as soon as I sat down on my bed.

"Ok, tell me what's wrong," my mom begins.

"Hachi is gone," I answer.

"I see that but how did he go missing?"

"Someone took him."

"What?"

"I walked him to the park and on the way saw two men in black clothing. I was running around with Hachi when Hoolah and her mother came up to me with frightened looks. They told me that the men were kidneppers. They had already called the police. We sat down and spoke naturally. The police came and when I went to pick up Hachi, HE WAS GONE!!!!!" I said with tears bursting from my eyes.

My mom was also crying. She ran in to her own room and locked the door. I could hear her crying. I was so sad. I heard the doorbell ring. Probably dad. I quickly wash my face and hide all signs that I was crying. I ran downstairs and open the door. Dad runs inside and looks everywhere with a worried look.

"Dad, why are you home so early and what are you looking for?" I ask, my voice still a bit soft.

"Mom said you went to the park with Hachi. I knew that there were dognappers out in our neighborhood. I forgot to tell you," he claimed still looking around. Once he had looked everywhere, he looked in to my eyes and asked me, "Where is Hachiko?"

Mom came down the stairs and told him the answer, "The dognappers got to him before you could."

My dad sad down, stunned by my mother's response. We all sat down and thought about what we should do next. I thought about calling someone, but I didn't know who through all the stress. Hoolah? Nope. Grandma? She doesn't even know I have a pet. I tell mom we should call someone and she immediately yells "POLICE!"

I pick up the phone and call the police at 911. A police officer picks up and I telll him what happend.

"Hello," an officer asks.

"Hello. My name is Kayla and I just got dognapped."

"And, what should we do about it?"

"You find the dognapper and get my dog back."

"Sorry, we need info."

"Like?"

"Where it went missing and how it looks."

"He went missing at Horton Park and he's an Akita Inu."

 "Akitu Inu? What is that?"

"Its the breed of my dog."

"Well, we can't find your dog. Its just a pet."

"It's not 'just a pet'. He's my friend."

"Ya, some friend, just get another one."

"What?"

"Put down the phone and stop annoying us kid."

"Hello? HELLO?"

They had put down the phone. He probably doesn't have a dog himslef. That's why he doesn't understand the love of a real pet. If they aren't going to look for him, than I will. I get a backpack with five pairs of clothes and any food or water I would need. Than I set out to find the Jerks. I hate them. I bet they were the dognappers. I knew they would get to Hachi, I just didn't know when. I quickly find them at the park where the police just were.  They begin to laugh as I walk closer.

"Hello, pipsqueak."

"Where's my dog," I ask fiercely.

"I don't know, did he run away?"

"No, you took him."

"No we didn't."

"Yes, you did. Give him back," I scream tears beginning to flow down my cheek.

"Okay, we didn't mean to make you cry. We were joking about taking your dog the other day," they said. "We don't have your dog but if we see, we'll be sure to tell you."

If they were going to go soft all of a sudden, then they must be truthful for once. I wiped my cheek and walked away. Who do we go to next. I decided I will go to the police and convince them that it's not their job to accept a mission. If a dog or person goes missing, they MUST, at least, attempt to find the missing loved one. I walk kilometres to the police station only to see a woman eating a doughnut and drinking coffee. She looked at me and laughed. Then she looked away and continued to eat the rest of the doughnuts in the box.

I walked in to the jail cells to only see a bunch of criminals. They were all laughing. I stood in the middle and asked who in the cells were former dog/animalnappers. Only one responded. I walked over to that cell and asked where all the animals were kept. He answered with much description. He told me that they were kept behind a large ruined animal hospital at the culinary plaza. There you ask for Mr Bosch. He has the dogs. Get past him and you can get the dogs. I wrote it all down. As I walked out the door, I looked at the policewoman and said "Fat pig, with absolutely no sense of humanity. Just how did you become a police officer?" She came to grab me but  I was gone by then.

No one can catch me. I am a lone wolf looking for my pup. I will not rest till he's found. Try to catch me if you can but it will be hard..... for the battle has BEGUN!
