The Dawson Residence

     Antonio woke up early and looks over some case files as Laura was still sleeping. As soon as it was 6:30am, Laura woke up and went to get their son Diego up.

Laura waked in Diego's room as Antonio was fixing breakfast, "Diego where are you? It's time to get up."

Diego came out of his closet dressed, "hey mom, what's for breakfast? I'm all ready to go and I have had my backpack all ready for about 4 days already."

Laura looked at her son trying not to laugh, "your dad is cooking eggs and bacon. And you are growing up so fast. How long have you been up?"

Diego looks at his mom, "yum, I love dads eggs and bacon!! I've been up for about 20 minutes getting ready for school.

Laura smiles, "go ahead and head downstairs while I get your sister up."

Diego laughs looking at his mom sympathetically, "good luck with that mom. She's not a morning person as you know already from last year. She might be worse this year. Anyways I'll see you downstairs, love you."

Laura laughs, "thank you for that son. She'll end up having a punishment this year if she doesn't get up when I tell her to. Love you too." She smiles watching her son walk downstairs and then she walks into Eva's room to wake her up.

"Eva Lynn Dawson, you better wake up now or your phone will be gone for a week! You need to get ready for school", Laura says.

Eva sighs rolling her eyes as she gets up, "wow mother you can't even let me sleep in at all?!?!? You know I'm tired!"

Laura looks at her daughter, "enough Eva. You are 13 and your younger brother is already up and ready. Your father and I and even Diego is tired. I told you that you needed to go to bed early for your first day at school but you wanted to stay on your phone so guess what happens now!"

Eva rolls her eyes, "what happens now mother?"

Laura looks at her daughter walking over to where Eva's phone is plugged in and takes her phone and the charger, "your getting your phone taken away for a week. Your disrespect and disobeying is not cutting it with me and your father is on  board with it because he's tired of your disrespect as well."

Eva rolls her eyes storming to her closet to get dressed as Laura walks into her room locking her daughters phone in her closet then walks downstairs to eat breakfast. Afterwards, Eva started storming downstairs to eat her breakfast. Antonio looks at Laura wondering what was going on and Laura mouths that she will tell him later and he nods.

Antonio looks at everyone and says, "alright everyone, let's go. I can tell everyone is done."

Diego jumps up smiling and everyone can tell he's excited, "yay!!! Dad breakfast was amazing thank you, let's get to school now. I can't wait to learn more." He runs by the door to get his Star Wars backpack and he asks his dad if he can have a school lunch and he nods giving his son $3 for his lunch.

Eva storms over by the door to get her plaid Jansport backpack and asking her dad if she can have a school lunch and he looks at Laura and then back at Eva, "your mom already packed a lunch."

Eva rolls her eyes grabbing her lunch and putting it in her bag and then storming again out to the car. As Laura gets in and Diego climbs into the back when Antonio locks the house getting in the car. Eva was the last to get in and buckle up.
