"As I Love You,"

"As I love you, whatever happens to us , I will protect you forever. I promise." Edward stated this meaningfully to Aliza. They were deeply together, so would save each other no matter what.

One day, the couple decided as an anniversary treat that they would visit the Minotaur's Maze. At the end, apparently a huge Minotaur pops up. Hahaha. Plastic though! So they hired a taxi and went out. It took about 48.67 minutes to get there. When they did, they were upset. There was just one tiny door. Call this a maze! But once inside, well, lets just say it was a whole lot different from outside. Various paths meandered together, each flowing to the End and the plastic Minotaur.

The couple took path 6 of 20 and set off happily, Aliza singing and skipping, Edward jogging. Oh, how they loved each other. First they passes through an overgrown and uncut meadow, full of prickly thorns and weeds of all shapes and sizes. Then came the lava river. Jump or burn. Every five minutes, the volcano erupted, sending lava to the people at the bottom. Once again, jump or die. Finally, there was a lake in which you had an opportunity to thrash about and cool down.

At long last, the couple entered the cave. They waited and waited. And then they waited again. The atmosphere changed suddenly- everything was silent, no movement. All they could hear were each others hearts beating steadily, if not, quickly. Aliza then felt a drip on her ear. Sweat. But Edward was on her left, not right! Then it dawned on the couple. The Minotaur.

It charged, driving them to a cliff range. It then said

"One must die. One must live. Choose now."

The couple were distraught. That was why it was quiet. There was a REAL Minotaur on the loose units maze. It had killed all other visitors. After a long time waiting, the boy stepped forward.

"I'm older. Take me instead," he whispered. The girl just screamed as the bull charged and dug his horns into Edward's flesh.
