Purpose

I was so confused.

"Can I be excused?" I asked politely.

"Of course, sweety" Amy said sweetly.

I rush out the door and Nate walks out.

"Nate? What are you doing here? How did you find me?"

"Ethan told me to follow your GPS."

"AND YOU LISTENED TO HIM?" I snare

"It's for your own good," he says

"I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS!" I say angrily

"Come with me, it's important" he told me.

"No no no no NO! I'm not ruining this once in a lifetime moment just to come with your stupid ass!" I say trying not to be too loud considering Skylynn's family was staring at me.

"It's important!" He says

"No, I can't and I won't," I say back.

Skylynn walks out.

"Just go babe," she says. I guess she heard everything?! sighs* Great! fucking great. This is a good first impression so far. What else? God please help me.

I walk over to Skylynn.

"I'm so sorry this is happening, literally at the worst time possible. Your parents are probably going to hate me and-" she cuts me off with a kiss

"My parents won't hate you" she said softly.

"But this is our night, it's important to me" I say.

"It's important to me too, but you need to be there for your brother as well." She told me caressing my cheek.

"I'm going to make this up to you" I told her kissing her forehead.

"Just go," she told me

"I love you Grayson" she said on my chest.

"I love you more." I tell her and kiss her on her forehead once more.

I walk off with Nate into the car. I watched her as she watched me leave.

I rub my head in anger as if I had a headache.

"What the hell do you want?" I ask Nate

"It's not what I want, it's what your brother wants."

"Well, what does he wants?" I ask looking at Nate facial expressions that looked at little uneasy.

"You'll see" he told me.

What the hell does that mean? This is seriously getting me pissed off.

"I thought we were cool, we've been buddies for a long ass time, why would you do this?" I ask him

"We are, I'm just...just helping you out..I guess," he stutters. This is obviously not going to end up well. Nate stutters when he's anxious and nervous, like one time, we went to a party and he felt uneasy for some reason when we got there and we realized someone pulled out a gun and the cops were called. The house was burned down the next day by a drunk dude on accident.
