Differences// g.d

I wake up to an oddly peaceful silence. It's usually pretty loud considering I have 2 little brothers.
I put slippers on and wrap a blanket around me. I walk down the stairs and,

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SKYLYNN!!" Coming from my family.

Crap I forgot, I turned 16 today.

"Oh my gosh. Thank you guys so much!!"
I say and start hugging everyone, a little uneasy since I forgot.

"Happy birthday princess" My dad tells me.

"I can't believe my baby is turning 16, what am I going to do in a couple years without you?" My mom told me while smiling almost in tears.

"Mom it's fine. It's just a number. Don't worry about it. But Thanks for everything guys. You mean the world to me."

I say hugging them one last time. "I'll go get ready" I tell my mom.

"Uh-uh, wait a second birthday girl," my mom replies with a smirk while glancing at my dad.

"What?" I ask.

"We have a surprise for you" my mom smirks.

I wonder what it could be. A car maybe? A trip somewhere? Some clothes? Some shoes? I glanced at my mom then back at my dad waiting for a response.
Then my mom pulls something from out of her pockets. She handed me it. I look down at what was placed in my hands.

"YOU GOT ME A BACKSTAGE PASS TO SEE THE TWINS? ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" I scream in excitement almost crying.
My stomach ached with butterflies and I almost feel dizzy from so much excitement.

"Yup, today. You get to meet them. Happy birthday sweetheart" my mom tells me.

"Mom, dad," I try to say seriously but couldn't stop the urge to smile.

"I can't explain how much this means to me. Like, this is the greatest gift anyone has ever even thought of," I say as a tear rolled down my cheek.

"Oh, baby, don't cry," my mom says coming to me for a hug as well as my dad.

But I couldn't stop crying. Gray and E are my everything. I've been obsessed with them since their first vine came out. I know it might sound cheesy of me saying this, but, they have helped me through the toughest, saddest, most worst times...even though they weren't by my side literally, I also knew they were in a way.

"Alright go get ready sweety" my mom says with a smile.
I nod and go upstairs. And this day...was the just the beginning...
