If you have read the last chapter, you’ll probably know that in this chapter I’ll be teaching you how to make your chapters long without putting too much effort and time. After you are finished reading this, you won’t even have to think before writing long chapters.

Repeat the same thing again and again. Make your characters express their undying love for their mates again and again. Eg:- ‘I love him. I can’t live without him. There’s nobody like him. How can anybody not love him? Did I tell you that I love him and can’t live without him?’ Repeat these lines after every single paragraph. You can also make your female characters think about the male characters abs and chest after every 15 seconds. Of course you can’t make the male character do something like that, that would just sound perverted!

Since people like descriptive writing, describe how your characters look- in details. Everybody wants to know what colored t-shirt your character wore or what is their shoe size or what trendy fashion line’s purse they’re using. So write about those in details. Also mention the details of the make-up and accessories they are wearing (yes, even for the male characters). Since they don’t wear the same thing ever again, you’ll have different stuff to write about every day. This will not only increase the length of the chapter but will be fashion-101 for the readers too!

Your character is listening to a song? Well why don’t you put the lyrics of the whole song in there? While you’re at it, explain how they are dancing. Write about every single dance step. Again, this will both increase the length of the chapters and will teach the ignorant about music and dance.

Write loooong author’s notes. Since you can’t broadcast your messages to your fans and have to tell everybody about how your day went, you can use the chapters as a medium for interaction with your fans. Treat your chapters as your diary. Because your life is oh-so interesting; tell them what you ate, where you went and how your boyfriend broke-up with you. You can cover almost 2-3 pages just by writing detailed author’s notes.

Use paragraph spacing as your secret weapon. Remember the girl who criticized you about how your paragraphs are all merged together and her eyes are hurting just by reading them? Take her advice for just this once. Press enter at least 2-3 times after switching each paragraph. This make the chapters longer and the poor little girl’s eyes would be happy too.

Go now people, make your chapters longer. And if somebody complains about how you use too much space between your paragraphs or how you write lyrics of songs that they already know of in your chapters, tell them why you do it. They can either have crappy chapters with the above said advice or they can have smaller chapters. That would shut them up.
