Told in a guys POV. Enjoy

*****

I used to know a girl who only wore black as if she were mourning all her life. From her hair to her shoes, glasses and braces, nail polish and makeup, shirts and pants, and sometimes jewelry, when she felt like it. Even her eyes were black, without contacts. She had pale skin and looked as white as a ghost. I loved her.

Her name was Molk Darling. Molk means silent in Slovenian.

(Might have spelled that wrong so sorry! Continue)

Her name fit her character because she was indeed silent. She never spoke. Ever.

Boy, was she beautiful. Not just on the outside but on the inside as well. How do I know? Well, she dropped a piece of paper one day and it had her writing on it, along with a realistic drawing. The drawing was a light bulb lit in the darkness. Her writing was delicate and neat.
The paper said:

The world is darkness
But who is the light?

Those simple words made, and still make, my heart soar. I read her words every night. I can never get tired of her words. If only...

Wait, I should start the day I met her. Last year during May. The day was the 14th I do believe. This is the story of the girl in black.

******
It was a dull Tuesday. The temperature was ok and it was a clear day outside, no wind or clouds. Just one of those spring days. It was so perfect that it was annoying.

I was working as usual after school had ended. I worked at an ice cream place called The Ice Cream Station. Why is it called this? Well the ice cream place is right beside the train tracks and, I think, it use to be a station. Like an actual train station.

As I said a perfectly annoying perfect day, nothing was out of the ordinary. Couples came to eat together on dates, parents tried to stop their kids from either crying or going crazy when their ice cream fell to the ground, and some people just coming to actually enjoy eating ice cream.

I was the order taker and at the moment nobody was ordering anything. That was until I heard a tap on the glass. I opened the sliding glass,"Welcome. What would you like to order?"

I looked up to find myself talking to a girl dressed in all black. She handed me a price of paper. It was her order. Does she not talk or something? I smile and told her the price;$5.45. She handed me exact change. I smiled and thanked her, telling her to wait near the window for her ice cream. She got a Train wreck. Chocolate ice cream with gummy bears, gummy worms, nerds and dark chocolate chips. Whip cream on top without a cherry.

"Molk," I called.

She came up and nodded taking the bowl from my hands. She headed towards a lone table. I watched her eat her ice cream. I probably looked like a stalker. No, I definitely looked like a stalker. Dang it. Why do I do this if it only freaks people out? She ate her ice cream and threw her trash away, but she didn't leave. She sat under a tree and took out her black iPod, which was wrapped in a black cord; headphones.

She put the earbuds in her ears and started to play music. After awhile she was crying. I walked out over to her.

"What's wrong, Molk," I asked loud enough so she, and only she, could hear me.

She hugged me and started full on sobbing. I wrapped my arms around her shaking body. She calmed down a few moments later. She handed me one of her ear buds. I smiled and took it. She pressed play and I listened. It was girls from school talking about Molk.

"She is a little ---- head. I mean she sleeps around with every guy at school. She's such a ---- that I'm surprised that she isn't pregnant yet....."
