The Mechanic - Fan Fiction

Chapter 11

A/N: I have absolutely no idea on what it's like to give birth and don't intend in finding out what it's like either. This is  mostly from research. I tried to keep it interesting. Sorry if it sounds weird. I should warn you that this chapter gets graphic with blood.

"ok, I said. 

"there are a few scalpels in the medicine room ... Jason please," I pleaded still in pain. 

"we can't do it here. It's not safe" Said Jason still having a firm grasp on my hand. 

"if we don't operate now, either she will die or the babies will die or both" said Ben convincing Jason to get the equipment. 

"I love you." Said Jason kissing me and he left with some of the guys.  

I tried to stand up it felt like the muscles in my pelvic region were all cramping together at once. I screamed and fell back down "maybe turn around that might help" said Etana.

I was a mess of tears when Jason got back. He handed a surgical pack to Ben who had done his best to stop the bleeding, Jason put a pillow under my head, and Jason helped me pull down my pants. 

"Thanks." I said. 

"This will help with the pain." He said and injected some morphine into my hand. 

I was still bleeding. After that Jason sat on the floor next to me, I moved to him and leant against his thighs. I felt the babies move a little. Ben pulled some sheets over my waist he ripped it right where the cut would be made. 

"if you can't look at blood look away now, it's going to get loud in here." Advised Ben. 

Jason took my hand, he wiped the tears off my face and kissed me a spider man type kiss. 

"its better if you don't look.'' Said Ben as he made an incision into my lower abdomen and because he didn't have the equipment to pull apart the muscles he separated it by tearing the muscles apart with his hands. The pain was unbearable. I screamed and looked at Jason as he looked at me, he tried to put on a brave face but he was clearly worried. 

"Hey remember the time when we first met?'' asked Jason trying to distract me. I nodded not wanting to say anything. He looked at me and smiled. 

"I saw you for the first time and you were gorgeous.'' Sad Jason wiping my face. 

"thanks,'' I said. 

As I looked around and I saw the amount of blood that I was losing, The blood flowing out was soaked up by the blankets. I felt Ben moving his hands in by stomach cavity. 

"oh god that hurt so much." I said as Jason softly wiped the tears off my face.

 Ben took is hands out for a second and took a deep breath and I felt Ben pushing on my lower abdomen and then again inserting his hands into my stomach cavity and he gently pulled out a baby but there was no crying, 

"it's a girl," said Ben holding her up, he gently shook her and waited for a response.

 In pain I looked at Jason as Ben cut the cord, he gently moved some of the hair that was on my face and had a worried smile that was sort of comforting. I could tell something was wrong. Etana moved closer to see what was going on, ben softly opened her tiny mouth and started blowing in to her tiny mouth he started doing CPR on her, Jason went over to see what was happening, Mel come over to me and said shook her head as I looked to her. Immediately the tears came out of my eyes. I tried to sit up but the pain was ridicules.
