Chapter 7

New chapter!!! I know it's a little short. There is a little swearing in this chapter.

We went back to the hotel, I went to the bathroom and shut the door while Jason went to get an ice pack for me

"Shit. Shit. Shit." I repeated.

"What's up?" asked Jason.

"God! I'm so stupid. You know how we had sex?" I asked still in the toilet.

"Oh fuck, we didn't use a condom? Did we?" asked Jason replying to my question he sounded like he was freaking out.

"No, we didn't... there's a bigger problem." I said opening the door of the toilet. I showed him what I was doing.

"You are kidding me?" he disappointedly asked.

"That's the second one I ... and there both faint, but positive." I said while shaking my head and freaking out and showing him the test.

"Wait, is it Andre's?" asked Jason as he comfortingly hugged me,

"no, we used a condom." I said promising Jason.

"It's yours." I said with tears in my eyes, I knew he was going to fire me and when I had this baby, it was not going to have a father when it grows up. It was better than what I had but it still felt cruel. I sat on the bed in disappointment when Jason hugged me,

"well even if it's Andre's or mine I'm still going to love it like it's my child." Said Jason.

I was shocked. "What about your jobs and the assignments?" I asked worrying about his future.

"The one I just saved you from, and made this baby with, was my last assignment." Said Jason wiping the tears off my face.

"Are you going to have this baby?" concernedly asked Jason.

"I don't want to have an ..." I didn't want to finish the sentence "but, I'd like to" I said.

"Then I'd like to be there every step of the way." Said Jason.

"What do we say to my friends?" I asked Jason.

"This is Mexico, we could just tell them that he got shot." Suggested Jason. I agreed as I watched Jason taking his clothes off to get ready for bed.

"That's a big bruise" said Jason. Placing the ice pack on my back.

"Thank you." I said still in my underwear.

"Maybe you should marry me." suggested Jason.

"What?" I said sounding confused.

"well if you think about it, we have been friends for quite a while and we have done pretty much everything together, and everything seems to be happening backwards so, what do you say?" asked Jason listing the reasons I should marry him. He got down on to his knees,

"please get up." I said while looking muddled he took a deep breath, "

from the moment I hired you l started developing feelings for you, and I can't imagine my life with out you. Shaniah so what do you say? Will you marry me?" he asked pulling out a ring.

I sat up on the bed and looked at him still in my underwear and smiled.

"No," I said as Jason looked embarrassed.

"I didn't mean that," I said with a smile and I saw a smile of relief in Jason's face

"well it's a little too late to say no, so yes, I will marry you Jason." I said embracing him, then kissing him.

"you know, you were the reason I had second thoughts on marrying Andre." I said.

"this is for you." I said handing Jason the envelope he had given me earlier.

"oh that's for you." He said with a smile.

"Thank you." I said. "what do we do with it?" I asked.

"anything." Replied Jason as he kissed me.
