First time saying "I love you"

James

You and James were sitting on the couch watching some movies. The two of you had been dating for a very long time now and your feelings for James had only grown stronger. You were even thinking that you might love him. You had been thinking for a long time and weren't really paying any attention.

"Love are you okay?" James asked as he put a hand on your hand.

"Yeah I'm fine just thinking." You said looking up at him.

"About?" He asked looking at you.

"Us." You said smiling.

"What about us?" He asked as he paused the movie.

"You're not thinking of breaking up right?" He asked concerned.

"No no no not at all. The opposite actually I think it's going really well." You said.

"Oh good. So do I it's going really really well." James said as he kissed your head;

You smiled and just looked at him for a few moments. You loved him and he should know that it didn't even matter to you if he didn't feel the same you just needed to tell him.

"James I need to tell you something really important." You said turning to him.

"Yeah sure you can tell me anything." He said now fully focused on you.

"Ok so I'm gonna tell you this but I just want you to know that you don't need to feel obligated to say it back or anything I just need to tell you this......" You said starting to stall because you were to nervous to tell him.

"I love you to." James said cutting you off.

You looked at James surprised and happy at the same time.

"Please tell me that you were gonna say that cause if not then I'm gonna be really embarrassed." James said smiling.

"I love you James." You said looking at him.

"I love you to Y/N." James said smiling at you.

You smiled and jumped up from your spot on the couch and jumped on him to hug him. He laughed at you and hugged you back. You pulled back and kissed him. James smiled into the kiss and deepened the kiss. You continued to kiss him and the top of his shirt was crumbled in your hands while his hands were on your back. The two of you pulled back because you needed to breath.

"I love you." You said leaning on James' chest and looking up at him.

"I love you to." He said as he kissed your nose.

Brad

Brad had invited you out to a fancy dinner. He told you to wear something really fancy because tonight was gonna be a really big deal. You had no idea why it was such a big deal but you just did what he had asked. Lately you had been thinking a lot about your relationship with Brad the two of you had such a strong bond and you had realized that you loved him. You loved him with all your heart. You had no idea how Brad felt but you were hoping he felt the same way you were. Brad had come to pick you up the two of you were now at the restaurant eating your food.

"This place is really nice Brad." You said smiling at him.

"Yeah I know right. This is the place were my parents went on there first date." He said looking at you.

"So uh...You told me that tonight was a big night. What's so big about tonight?" You asked putting down your utensils.

"Oh well uh....I was uh gonna wait a little longer to tell you this but ok." He said as he got up from his chair and walked over to you.
