Chapter 20

Chapter 20 Camila's POV

It's been a month now since tour was over and to be honest I miss meeting new people and doing what I've always dreamed of. At this very moment I just finished recording the final song to my new album, so I'm just walking down the many hallways to this record building, when I bump into someone. Why does this always happen?

"I'm so sorry I didn't see you there." We both look at each other, and both of our eyes widen.

"Camila?"

"Becky?"

"OMG CAMILA!" She pulls me into a hug and I quickly hug her back. Why do I always meet people this way? Wait what is she doing here? Who cares about that now? My sister and I are finally seeing each other after a long ass time.

"Becky, omg, you have no idea how much I've missed you."

"Me to Lila." Lila was her nickname for me ever since we were small and playing in what Dinah called, and still calls, the hood. She couldn't pronounce my name when we were three so she went for Lila. I feel tears forming in my eyes and pull back.

"What are you doing here?"

"Recording a song, I got signed by Dr. Luke a month ago. Looks like you're doing well." Becky always had a thing for singing and raping in front of anybody, she has a great voice, she also knows how to rap, and damn was she, and still is, a beast at it. I on the other hand always kept music to myself, to nervous and scared to be outgoing like her.

"Yes, I actually just finished recording the final song to my album, all we need now is to edit them, and by 'we' I mean my team and Lauren."

"Speaking of Lauren, get it girl! You two are so cute together. Hermosas que se ven de verdad."

"Thank you, she's so sweet. What about you? How have you been?"

"Well I have a lot to tell you so how about we go sit down, if you're not busy that is."

"No, not at all. I'm just waiting for Lauren. Let's go."

We end up in a conference room and talked about everything that happened in our lives while we were away from each other. She lived with Austin after he found out she was homeless. Which was a surprise because Austin is not like that and I do hate the fact she lived with him. Anyways at first she admitted that she used him only for the things he had, which were food, a place to sleep and a recording studio. Apparently Austin had a crush on her, which she had no idea about, since she lacked the feeling of being liked, like her liked her. She too started to like him, after a while she stopped a bit only using him for his stuff, but he realized that she was doing that. By then the paparazzi made up rumors that they were together, so to hurt Becky, he went out with Selena Gomez, a famous 18 year old singer. They were all flirty and kissing during the whole date. That hurt Becky so she ran away from there and a year later, after writing songs about what happened, she ran into Dr. Luke. They talked and he was very eager to sign her to his label. From then on she hasn't seen or heard from Austin, nor does she.

Austin is such a jerk. It makes me angry to know that he purposely hurt my sister like this, but she did do something bad but she did stop, just not in time, still that's no excuse to do what he did. I guess she's still heartbroken because she started to cry. I got up as did she and I pulled her into a hug, sitting against the wall on the floor. She wrapped her arms around my neck loosely and her legs around my waist, resting her head on my shoulder crying while I try to comfort her. After a while she calms down and we stay like that until she speaks up.

"Sometimes I feel like no one likes me. Like everything I do is wrong and it doesn't help that people always talk shit about me." I know how she feels, I felt like that too at some point, until I learned to not worry about what others say about me.
