"But did you see how that blonde guy was eyeing you while you ordered your coffee?" Ariana laughed as we walked back to work coming from Starbucks.

"I swear Vanessa, he was so into you, I don't know why you keep rejecting every attractive guy, I mean look at you," she says gesturing towards my body, "if I looked like you, I'd be showing off every second I can."

"Oh my gosh Ari, I'm not a whore." I laughed as I gently pushed her off the sidewalk.

"I really don't want to be here... Out of all the things we could be doing on a Friday, yet here we are. At work" I sighed as we walked into the building.

As I placed my hat back on, a guy with a lot of tattoos bumps into me while walking towards the exit. He didn't even bother to say sorry.

"Excuse me?" I say while glaring at him.

"Yeah, you're excused" he turns around then leaves.

I sigh as I go back behind the counter. The guy who had seemed interested in me at Starbucks walks in. Ariana looks at me and smiles, signaling me to welcome him.

"Welcome to Holister, thank you for coming, I'd be glad to help you with anything," I fake a smile. My phone vibrates and I snatch it and quickly slide it open. It was a text from Ariana stating that I need to get a boyfriend. I look over to her, seeing her grin at me from behind her phone.

I don't really need a boyfriend. Do I? I honestly think in perfectly fine without one. Or am I? My thoughts are interrupted by the blonde who has a blue t-shirt in his hands as he approaches me.

"Hi... Umm... I'd like to know if you'd want to go out with me on a date maybe," his cheeks flush a bright pink while he studies the door. I look over to Ari for some help. She has a big smile and two thumbs up. Before I answer he speaks.

"Sorry... I know that's dumb, never mind," he pulls one of his hands out of his pockets and starts to ruffle his hair.

"No, it's okay. I'd love to," I smile as I write my number and sign my name on the back if his receipt. I probably would've said no if Ari wasn't there.

"Thank you so much, I'll be sure to call you," he says as he walks out the door.

"Well that wasn't too bad. Was it Nessa? I mean, he was-" Ariana was interrupted by the rude guy from earlier who bumped into me. I couldn't help but stare at him, he's wearing a tight white shirt, making his tattoos on his torso visible. He was rude, but hot. That still gives him no reason to barge into the shop and be rude to everyone.

"I swear Nessa, if you're thinking about talking to him I'll slap you. He's a freaking bad ass. He goes around having sex with every girl, beats up everyone. But that's not all, he's a alcoholic and a pot head. You seriously don't want him" Ariana whispers as she follows my eyes. He isn't my type anyways. I rather date the blonde guy who left a few minutes ago.

"So is anyone gonna help me or am I suppose to check myself out?" he says from the other side of the counter. His British accent makes him even more hot. But his attitude is a big turn off.

I walk over to him, avoiding eye contact. I scan all the clothing he has then he swipes his debit card. It's so awkward that he won't take his eyes off of me. When he leaves I run over to Ariana.

"That was so horrible. I thought he was going to grab me and slap me on the floor or something, he wouldn't stop looking at me," I laugh as the words barely come out.

"Was I suppose to do that?" I hear a familiar voice behind me. I turn around and see him back yet again. I felt my heart speed up and my knees become weak. Good, now it really will happen.

He walks over to me. I'm sure he's going to break me into pieces, until he grabs a pair of shades. I exhale, thankful that he didn't kill me.

"Well? Was I? I'm waiting for an answer." He repeats himself.

"Oh no, not you, she was talking about a guy we saw earlier today." Ariana cuts in trying to save me.

"I was here earlier." He looks from me to Ariana. What am I going to do. Luckily he turns around and puts the sun glasses back, then leaves.

"You could've gotten us killed!" Ariana whispers to me as we laugh.

Ariana and I walk back to a bus stop as we talk about what happened today.

"He might like you Nessa." Ariana says.

"Was I suppose to?" I repeat as I stare at her, then crack up laughing. We get weird looks from the people we walk by, but that doesn't stop us. That's why I love Ariana. We do everything and don't care what anyone says. She's my real best friend and I don't have to pretend to be someone else when I'm with her.

A black car rolls up beside us and the windows roll down revealing the rude guy who kept coming to the shop. I feel light headed and my stomach drops. Is he obsessed with us or something?

"You two really shouldn't be walking home alone this late. Anyone could come and kidnap you. Just get in," he says.

'Is that what you're trying to do?' I say in my head.

"We're okay. It's just a few blocks away." Ariana points towards the direction we're going in.

"Okay? I don't care. It's late and it's cold. Get in," he demands.
