Liam’s POV

I dabbed the cotton pad into the make-up remover and gently rubbed it across her face. It only took three pads to clear her face of all the make-up. I took a few minutes to stare at her, admiring her beauty.

I placed the cotton pads to the side of me and turned around to grab the box on the table.  I slowly moved her hand so it would be easier for me to slide the bracelets off.  By the time I was sliding the fifth bracelet off her eyes peeked open. It took a few blinks until her eyes adjusted.

“What are you doing?” she quickly pulled her arm from my grasp.

“Why do you have those scars?” I asked, even though I knew the answer.

“Can we talk about it later?” she looks towards the wall. I sigh as I stand up and take a seat next to her. I don’t want her to leave me because I forced her to tell me, especially not when we’re suppose to leave to go to my mum’s in three days.

I turn on the TV as I pull the seat back. Nessa doesn’t look at me or talk at me.

3 Days Later

Vanessa’s POV

“Are you sure you got everything?” Liam asks me for the tenth time today.

“Yes, now hurry up and put everything in the car,” I playfully roll my eyes, causing him to chuckle.

I’m still mad that he tried to remove my bracelets when I was asleep, but I don’t want to talk about it with him.  He hasn’t mentioned it for the past three days. I’m hoping he forgot about it. It would be embarrassing if he left me because he thinks I’m crazy.

Liam finally loaded up the boot and we were on our way to the airport. He placed his hand on my thigh as he used the other one to drive. I had butterflies in the pit of my stomach when he touched me.

I turned on the radio to eliminate the quietness in the car. I nearly jumped out of my seat when I heard what song was on.

“Let me be your ruler; you can call me queen bee!” I screamed.  Liam chuckled and turned down the radio.

 “You’re an amazing singer!”

“But I can’t sing…” I raise my eyebrow as I turned to him.

“Oh, I know. I thought I’d just be nice to you,” he smirked as I pushed him, “calm down, I was joking.”

We arrived at the airport a few minutes late, so we rushed to get our bags out and go through the security line.  After my luggage went threw the medal detector, it started beeping. Oh shit, what did I bring? My heart stopped as I thought of things that could’ve been in my bag. Did someone sneak a knife or gun in it?

“Ma’am, you can’t have these shampoo and conditioner bottles. The rules state that your bottle has to be travel sized. This isn’t three ounces.”  A man lifts up the bottles.

“Why the hell does it have to be three ounces, she needs that shit to wash her hair, what is she suppose to do?” Liam hollers from the opposite side of him.

“Well, she can buy some when she gets to her destination.”  He seems intimidated by Liam.

“Why would she want to buy some when she has those? They could last her a month!”

“Liam, calm down. It’s okay. I’ll get more,” I whisper as I look around the room and see everyone has their eyes on us. Liam calms down and snatches his bag from the guard. We quickly go onto our plane. Liam and I take our seat and I sit next to the window.
