A/n: ok the guy singing in the video is what Joel Dixon's voice sounds like. Plus I love that song. Best song by One Direction ever!
Joel's POV
I lay in my bed. First concert back. This is gonna be different. I'm so used to two hands. Luckily my right hand is my dominate hand. I got up and brushed my hair. I pulled on my shirt. It took a second to get it on. I walked out and went to change into the white v-neck, red skinny jeans, and the jacket. Uncle Joel pinned the arm for me. I put on the black combat boots. I turn fourteen in three days. Hope is what we crave and that will never change. I don't know why that popped in my head. Two years later
It was two days before my birthday. I was planning to do something for Jesse. I took her to the beach. We went into the water a little bit but I didn't go past my knees. Can't blame me though.
"Hey Jesse. I was wondering if you wanted to maybe go on a date tonight?" I asked.
"I would love to but I'm supposed to help your dad with something tonight." She said. I sighed and grabbed a towel and dried off. I went home and took a shower. I put on black skinny jeans and a red shirt with Just do it. In black letters. I put on black vans. I brushed my hair. I went to Wendy's. The lady handed me the tray and I carefully balanced it and went to a table. As I was eating a little boy came up to me.
"May I have a picture Joel?" He asked. I nodded and his dad took the picture. I continued to eat and then left. I drove back home. The lights were off.
"Dad!" I called out. I turned the lights on.
"Surprise!" Everyone yelled. After the party I sat down on my couch.
"Still on for the date?" Jesse asked.
"Too tired tonight. Tomorrow and lunch." I said. She nodded and hugged me goodbye.A/n: little chapter and I probably won't update till like Wednesday or later.
