Chapter 9

Joel's POV
I sat in my room at the hotel. I had a whole plan. Julia and I had been dating for almost a year now. Her cancer and subsided. They checked up on her every month. I gathered my Dad, two Uncles and two Aunts. Then her dad. We planned everything out.

The next day I woke up and took a shower. I put on a teal t-shirt, black skinny jeans, and a teal and black plaid shirt. I put on black vans and brushed my slightly damp hair. I heard a knock on my door. I opened it and everyone came in.
"Joel you've gotten so tall!" Aunt Moriah said.
"Yes I have." Uncle Joel said. She smacked his arm.
"Ow what was that for?" He whined.
"Be a good boy and maybe you'll get a kiss on the cheek." She said. Aunt Moriah hugged me. Aunt Courtney came up and handed my peach roses.
"Can't forget the flowers." She said. I kissed her cheek.
"Thanks Aunt Courtney." I said.
"Ok Julia is ready to go on a little hike. So we will be ready in about 30 minutes. " Uncle Jacob said. I call him that because he basically is kinda like my uncle in away. Ok I think that now sounds weird.

(A/n: not actually his uncle!!!! Ok Joel no relate to Jacob! K? Ok!)
I went and knocked on Julia's. She opened it a few minutes later. I handed her the flowers.
"Flowers for my flower." I said.
"That was so cheesy!" She said taking the flowers. She put them in a vase.
"You love it." I said. She rolled her eyes.
"You aren't Aunt Moriah!" I said. She started laughing.

We went out and gotten in the car. When we arrived at the small trail it was about 5:45.
"Come on let's go on a hike!" I said pulling her along. After a few minutes she stopped and picked up a rock.
"It says Yes on it! I'm gonna keep it to remember the Yes movement of Daniel Bryan cause he is retiring." She said. I rolled my eyes.
"You and your wrestling!" I said. She smacked me.
"Ow!" I yelled. Some people gave us some weird looks.
"Didn't your mom tell you it's not nice to stare?" I asked. The people quickly looked away. We continued up the path.
"Look this one says no!" She said showing me.
"Cool." I said. When we reached the over look of the park the sun was just starting to set. There were candles lit and peach rose petals around them. On a stump a rock said Marry me?

She turned and looked at the rock. I got down on one knee. She started crying.
"Can you hurry and turn around? My knee is really starting to hurt." I said. She turned and looked at me.
"Yes! Of course I'll marry you!" She said. I put the ring on her finger.
"Good cause otherwise that would have made quite an awkward video! Plus our families are watching." I said. Everyone stepped out from the bushes but Jacob who ran out.
"I think I sat in poison ivy!" He yelled. People looked at him.
"Staring isn't nice!" He yelled. They quickly walked away.
"We have another announcement." Uncle Joel said.
"I'm pregnant and it's a boy!" Moriah said. Everyone's mouth dropped open.
"I'm gonna be a daddy!" Joel yelled. Moriah smacked him.
"Sorry love." He mumbled.
"What's his name gonna be?" Julia asked.
"Timothy Andrew Smallbone." Uncle Joel replied with a huge smile on his face.
"Awe when is he due?" Aunt Courtney asked.
"March 24." Aunt Moriah replied.
"Wow only five months." Uncle Luke said.
"No more surprises right?" Dad asked.
"Nope!" Uncle Luke said.
"I need food!" I said.

We went back to the hotel and ordered pizza and all three Captian America movies. Just as the movie started their was a knock on the door. Julia ran to open it.
"Oh my goodness! Rose and Connor!" She said.
"Show me the ring!" Rose said. Rose is Julia's best friend.
"How's baby Nathan Thomas?" She asked.
"Still causing mom to run to the bathroom!" She said and laughed.
"Only two more months!" Connor said.
"Oh my gosh are you guys watching Captain America ?" Rose asked. I nodded.
"I've never seen them can we join you?" She asked. Everyone nodded.

Then we stuffed our faces with pizza and popcorn just like really Americans!

A/n: I have no idea why I said that last part but it sounded a lot better in my head! Rose is christianwhovian so go follow her. No Moriah isn't pregnant in real life unless they haven't told us yet. But they still will make adorable babies! Yes Daniel Bryan is retiring! It's so said. The yes movement will live in our heart and memories just like Ultimate Warrior and Connor "the crusher" .
