In South Central, there have been more than 30 gang-related shootings in the last three years and kids dying due to getting hit by stray bullets. In the hood they say "bullets ain't got no names and you're nobody til somebody kills you." A young woman named Bianca Santos has been living in South Central LA her whole life she grew up here and had family here and had a son to look out for and take care of until one morning, he wanted to play outside with the other neighborhood kids. Bianca told him it was ok but then moments later, a drive-by occurs and bullets start flying and the kids start running scared and afraid. Bianca heard the shots and ran outside to get her son and protect him, but it was too late her son had died and was hit by two stray bullets that wasn't meant for him. Bianca was devastated and heartbroken and cried out loud for help but there was nothing no one could do not even her, her son was only 7 years old. When Bianca lost her son, she lost her life, a piece of her was gone and she hasn't been the same since. She vowed that she would get justice for her slained son and track down the person responsible for his death and make him pay for what he done. Although she didn't get a good look at the drive-by shooter, she has to do whatever it takes to find him and make him suffer the same pain she went through. All Bianca ever wanted was a normal life for her and her son and do what was best for him because she loved him and cared so much about him. This wasn't the life she had in mind. She wanted things to be different she wanted out of South Central as this isn't where she wants to be for the rest of her life. Bianca packed most of her stuff and put everything else in storage or just gave it away to her next door neighbors. She put the house up for sale and rented a moving van and with some money saved up from when she was working as a hair stylist, she took off and left South Central, never looking back as her neighbors watched her leave and said their goodbyes. Making this move was the best decision she made. She got her phone out and called someone and it was a woman named Annalisse, who was her cousin but they were like sisters. She lived in a different part of town of Los Angeles Baldwin Hills Crenshaw area which was quiet and serene. Annalisse heard about what happened to her son and gives Bianca her condolences. She was hoping to plan his funeral but needs time to grieve and get things situated and was wondering if she could stay with her. Annalisse tells her she is more than welcome to come stay with her as long as she needs to and will help her cope with her son's death. Annalisse had a three-bedroom house that only her and her daughter stayed in which is Bianca's niece. Annalisse used to be married but her husband was an abusive and controlling man who beat her up and was sexually assaulted by him when she made conversation with a waiter while they were on a date and the husband thought she was flirting with him which she wasn't. One day, Annalisse decided enough was enough and couldn't take any more of his abuse, so she went in her closet and got a gun and loaded bullets in the chamber and cocked it. She went upstairs where her husband was in the bedroom looking for his shirt and scolded her for not ironing it. He picked up the iron and tried to burn Annalisse with it, but Annalisse pointed the gun at him and shot him. She approached him and shot him again point blank range to the head. She grabbed the iron from his hand and used it to burn his face with it. Annalisse ended her nightmare of abuse and since then, has been a free spirit and hasn't considered remarrying as she is not ready for another relationship. Annalisse tells Bianca to come over and she'll help her unpack her things and hang out and discuss funeral arrangements for her son. Bianca tells her she will be there in half an hour as she has to make a quick stop at the bank to withdraw some cash from her account. Bianca hangs up the phone and continues driving making her way to Fedcal Savings and Loans.
