Phantom's POV

I sighed at the usual congratulations after dropping the soul off at the Order to wait for judgment, my mother and Morticia ran up giving me their affection and praise on a job well done but I knew I would miss the human realm. No not the realm but that boy...Oliver, the name sounded familiar but I shrugged it off there were many different myths and legends floating around that names easily got changed.

I looked away from the women and noticed my father looking more worried then normal, his brows were pinched together as if he was contemplating something. I pushed away from the girls and walked over to the man who seemed so troubled by his thoughts.

"What's wrong father?" I asked and noticed him look up slightly shocked.

"Phantom I have a job for you, it is quite dangerous but Orphilios has been sited attacking children in their homes. Males by the name Oliver, and females by the name Olivera," he paused noticing my slight change in attitude. Oliver was in danger and with an S class demon this could be bad. "We believe he is searching for the child of prophecy, the human with an angelic soul by the name of Olivera, I need you my son to find Orphilios and bring him in before he has a chance to ruin the fates design. Can I trust you with this task my boy?" I heard a murmur behind me as my mother had came closer and have my father a strong willed nod.

"I am not doing this for the fates or for the prophecy I am doing this for Oliver he was attached once I will not let him get attached again." I thought to myself then turned towards an areas for weapon maintenance. Everyone knew I was the only one to work on my weapon, and it will stay that way until I pass my weapon down.

The days passed as I trained to capture the demon who possibly killed many humans, I was unsure as too why I felt so aggravated at the thought of Oliver being in danger. That anger fueled my lust for the battle, I wanted to cut the demons head off but I need to capture it's soul first. I scoffed placing my weapon down, souls who would've thought demons would have souls.

I jumped as the door to the training room closed suddenly and looked up to see my mother smiling at me.

"You want to spar my son?" She asked a devilish smirk upon her face as I nodded and we drew our weapons.
"Your father has connived his attempts at getting you wed...perhaps it's time you told him." I scoffed and shook my head heading into an attack.

"No for now I will kill this demon...for his sake." I muttered hoping she would think it was my father I spoke of but her expression told other wise.

"Love can strengthen you or defeat you. Who is he?" She asked blocking my attach and countering as I leapt away.

"I know only that I saved him from a demon...and his name is Oliver." My voice came faint as my mother knocked my weapon away and pinned me.

"Make your hate a weapon this demon kills for fun it will take joy in seeing your fears. It can see right through to your soul, if he should live through this I give you my blessing child to be with whom you love." She held out her hand to pick me up and sighed. "Your father is sending you undercover, be human and get your reap you leave tomorrow." She said before turning and leaving the area to me and my thoughts.
