Oliver's POV

About a week had passed since the incident with the dark creature in my room, I had dyed my hair silver in an attempt to remove the scares of seeing the shadow beast my hair had constantly scared me. The buzz around the school was about a tall mysterious new kid. I don't pay attention to the gossip however that was before I saw the tall kid, with black hair and orange eyes standing in my classroom. He wore a red shirt that read "f**k off I kill" with dark denim skinny jeans and blue converse. He wore a blank expression until his eyes settled on me and his lips twitched into an unnoticeable smile.

"Hello class please welcome our newest student, Phantom Reaper." The teacher said smiling as she introduced the boy. "Phantom you can sit next to mr. Clenten." She said and I glared at her for using my fathers name when suddenly something collided with the back of my head and I flinched.

"Hey Fag what'd ya do to your hair?" My usual bully, Paul, yelled and threw another object. I was about to turn and yell at him when a pale palm landed on my desk and I looked up to see Phantom leaning over my desk his other hand behind his back. His face just I front of mine.

"You must be the big, tough, scary, egotistic, bastard bully I was told about." He smirked as Paul glared at him about to speak when Phantom cut him off. "Oh and I found this out in the hall any idea who it belongs to?" He said his eyes giving off a deathly glare as he pulled out an aged stuffed bear and Paul flushed causing Phantom and I to smile as he took the bear in rage.

"Ass." Paul muttered placing the bear beside him as I looked up to find Phantom looking at me.

"I like your hair, it's like heavens light." He smiled and stood up. "Don't change it again this one suits you." He brushed his hand down my arm causing me to shiver slightly as he took his seat and then turned towards the teacher who had ignored the entire event. I just smiled towards him, he was the first person in history at this school to show Paul he wasn't such a hot shot and it kinda made him look cuter. I blushed and looked down at my lap at the thought. He was gorgeous and what was I some silver haired freak he saved from the thing once.

The class ended and Phantom looked around before standing up and heading outside he rounded a corner and lit a smoke, I couldn't help but giggle which caused him to look up and towards me, at first he seed angry but after his eyes settled on mine he smiled.

"Hey it's the cutie who was getting picked on, what's up?" He asked his voice seemed friendly unlike the one he used on Paul and I knew my face was red from the him calling me cutie, I quickly looked down hoping he hadn't seen.

"Hey you okay?" He dropped his smoke and placed a hand on my arm. I just stood there frozen in place, when I didn't respond I felt his hand touch my chin and his thumb brushed my cheek as he lifted my face up to look at him. I blushed more at how close he was and the thought of him being closer made me blush more. He laughed lightly and placed his hands on my waist.

"My my Oliver you look beautiful like this." He whispered in my ear causing me to shiver and look up at him.

"So your name's Phantom...I guess that thing from the graveyard called your last name then." I blushed a bit and notice he had frowned.

"So you do remember me? Wait does Anthony?" He asked looking shocked and I shook my head then leaned against his shoulder.

"Am I going crazy?" I asked as images from that night flashed through my mind which caused me to shake.

"No, Oliver what's wrong?" Phantom stood there even as the bell rang and I began to cry as the I saw the dark creature flash through my memories. His grip on my waist tightened as he held me closer to him, we stood like that outside for about half the class, me crying into his chest as he held me against him. I soon began to stop crying and he lifted my face up to see him, his eyes seemed to hold some kind of pain.

"What's wrong Oliver?" His voice was calm and he loosened his grip so I could speak.

"A...a thing came in my room...the night you saved me...said his name was Orphilios...he called me by a name only my mother had used..." I started to cry at the thought of my mother and Phantom held me closer as my knees gave out and I cried into his chest. He had lifted me into his lap during it all and I tried to calm down but it wouldn't work, I was stuck crying my heart out in the lap of this beautiful boy.
