Death of a fair beloved

I never knew I would be moved

I hate dwelling on sentiment

Sentiment as a chariot draws emotion

And emotions I detest

But how would I understand the sorrow

The agony of the bereaved

The excruciating pain of losing a priceless beloved

How would I comprehend

The lose of a dear rib

I have never gasped for breath before

How would I assimilate the scourging pain of desperate need for air

It was how they felt

When that bright torch of love deemed

When her radiant smile ceased

And her sweet eyes shut in eternal sleep

When the night speaks silence of a familiar touch

They wept endlessly

I stood in awe

As stream of tears came cascading down their faces

A mother is an irrevocable, irreplaceable jewel

A figure that sat and watched our infant head
When we sleep on our cradle bed
And tears of sweet affection shed

That sacred position who will forever fill?

A fair flower was gone from them

I wept

The first sight of a dead I behold

In their shoes myself placed

And my heart the pain tore

And I knew I won't bear to part
with my fair angel of love

Their sorrow spoke to one another in mutual understanding

With longing eyes they looked at her body

Lifeless

Motionless

Dead

In turn they kissed her scented garment silently mourning for a bosom that will cease to protect them
