The Call-'Liberation'
The uncertainties of the present always give way to the enchanted possibilities of the future.-Gelsey Kirkland
Like an unweaned
Waiting and longing for a suckle
From a bosom so gentle
I waited for the call
Like a humble prodigal
Naked I stand before the genres
Waiting for the carillon call
Uninitiated
Lost in the wilderness
My feelings caged
Longing for freedom
Of expressions suppressed
Thou uninitiated I am
Lacking the medium to
patiently i wait
waiting for the call
readily geared to surrender
to liberation only the genre can give
i long for it
like one long for true love
finally, it calls to me
like the codes of the sacred ekwe
the codes came distinctly
it was beyond a call of duty
it is a call i must answer
like the long waited winter
it came
as gentle and as mild
and within i knew
my initiation was at hand
