(Alice's P.O.V)
it was pretty normal at work for four days now, except everytime the doors open I hope it's Winston. I'm trying to get used to it. but I mean we're friends which is cool, friends..friends is cool.
I got home and saw Grace in the hallway, "Hey" I smiled at her.
"Hey" she smiled back.
"Look" I walk over to her "I'm sorry about everything that happened I didn't mean what I said" I apologized.
"no I should be sorry, it wasnt my business I shouldn't have butted in like that" she shook her head.
"lunch?" I offered with an innocent look.
"sure" she agreed and wrapped her arm around mine.
"you're buying" I told her.
"don't I always" she said and we laughed.
_
We drove and she stopped at -the- café and I felt my heart drop.
"uh..can we go somewhere else?" I said.
"but they have really good sandwiches" she pouted.
"I just..I feel like having some Indian food today" I lied.
"Indian sounds good" she shrugged.
And because I have the most rotten luck ever the restaurant we went to was under construction alas we had to find another place to have lunch, so we decided a little diner in the city called Danny's Diner would do the job.
We sat down in a booth and ordered some food, I looked around and saw a familiar face making its way to us.
"Alice?" he said.
"Hey Ted" I stood up and gave him a hug.
"how are you?" he asked.
"I'm great I'm good, this is my friend Grace" I introduced him and they waved at each other.
"haven't seen you around for a while now" he pointed out.
"yeah..uh I was kind of busy I guess?" I told him confused, I'm sure he knows about it all and it was quiet for a second.
"we'll be performing at Stan's you two should come" he exclaimed.
"yeah sure we'll be there" I looked at grace as she nodded and smiled.
"ok great see you there, it'll be around 7-ish" he gave a wide smile back and left with a bag of takeout.
"that sounds like fun" Grace said taking a bite of her hotdog.
"yeah, sounds like a lot of fun" I whispered.

We went home and Grace being the girly girl she is wanted to get dressed up even though I told her we shouldn't.
"well I'm gonna and a little makeup won't hurt you, you know" she said looking through her closet.
I let her put on some makeup on me but made sure I didn't look like a clown. But I decided to dress myself with some black leggings a white tank top and a men's blue plaid shirt, I wore my hair down and put on some of Graces perfumes, sat on her couch and waited for her to get done.
"how do I look?" Graces asked me giving me a little twirl in her mini dress with a leather jacket on top.
"looking fab girl" I said with my best impersonation of whoever would say something like that.
