---Ike's pov---
I went to Firkle's house first, his mom answered the door.
After we had a very awkward conversation, she told me that he wasn't there. She told me I should check the places he normally hangs out at. I asked her where those places are and she said she thought I knew.
So, I've been looking for him for a while now, and have made about zero progress. I have to be home soon too, or my mom will kill me.
I've already went to the school again, searched multiple random places were people hangs out, random stores, Starks pond, and the coffee shops. Where did he even go?
I sigh as I find myself at the woods. I've been almost every where.
Then, I hear rustling and see someone fall out of a bunch of bushes.
"Ow..." They say as they brush off their pants and look over at me.
"Firkle?" He gives me a confused look.
"Why are you here?" He asks walking towards me.
I suddenly grab him and pull him into a hug, "I have been looking for you all day and you were here."
"Uh... Yeah? Why were you looking for me? Didn't you have that project to work on with Karen?" He asks, his voice muffled by my chest.
"I couldn't focus on the project. So, Karen said it'd be okay if I left for today," I say still holding Firkle.
