Jade POV~
"Julian!" I shout running towards him. Reaching him, I tackle him into a bear hug. His arms wrap around my torso as he accepts my hug.
"Long time no see," he says patting my head.
I look up at him and smile, enjoying the familiar presence. "How was the flight? Was it awful? Were you stuck between an old man with gas problems and a crying child?" I ask teasing him for having a fear of germs.
He pulls away and looks down, a smirk hinting on his face. "Close, it was an old lady and a crying child," he said shivering as he remembered.
"Same thing," I say shrugging.
People stared to move pushing into each other. Julian's eyes widdened as someone bumped into him. Him and his his stupid fear of germs...
Laughing, I take his luggage and arm; running towards the exit. We ran for who knows how long before the crowd dispersed in all directions.
I look over at Julian who was (not surprisingly) still shaking."Would you man up?!" I ask him in Japanese, forgetting to speak English, " You are really embarrassing yourself."
"Sorry."
I catch my breath when it hit me. That was Japanese. Awful Japanese, but still Japanese.
"When did you learn Japanese?" I ask rasingb an eyebrow.
"The plane ride."
I eye him doubtful, I know he is a genius but still, learning a language in less than 20 hours...
"Well I only know the basics," he continued with his horrible pronunciation.
"Sure..."
"Can we get some real food?" he asks straightening his back suddenly, "Plane food sucks."
" I just ate, but sure," I say walking out the double doors and wave down a taxi.
We enter quietly as I aske the man to drive us to my favorite cafe. It's only a 10 minute drive so we didn't say much. The whole time, Julian was looking out the window sightseeing.
"Thanks," I say handing the man my money before shutting the door.
"Tada!!!" I say announcing my favorite place to eat.
"This is... cute," he says mustering a smile.
I smack his arm playfully, "I know it doesn't look like much but wait till you try the food."
I lead him in and take a seat by the window. He follows and sit across from me as he scanned the menu. The waiter approached us and we ordered.
"I'll have the turkey sandwich," Julian ordered hand back the menu.
"And for you?" the waiter asked writing down Julian's order.
"I'll have a strawberry smoothie.
"Thank you, please wait."
"I wonder how he even understood you?" I tease, tapping my fingers on the table.
"I'm wounded!" he whines dramatically, bringing his hand to his forehead.
"Calm yourself."
"Fine," he pouts returning normal.
"So how is your family?" I ask changing the topic.
"Well, you see my mom..."
Time Skip~
"...and yeah, that's it," he said, taking his last bite.
Yawning, I lay my head down onto the table, exhausted after listening to his story.
"Hey now, that wasn't that boring," he said offended.
"Yep," I agreed as I paid for the food.
"Anyways, now that I'm in Japan, take me sightseeing."
"What about your suitcase?"
"What about it?"
"Never mind," I say standing up," We should just go back to the condo."
"What about sightseeing?" he asked wrinkling his eyebrows.
"We can stop by some stores if need be," I push open the door walking out.
Time Skip~
I was walking down the street dodging the masses of bodies. I kept dodging bodies guessing that Julian was trailing me. Then out of nowhere, a hand forcefully covered my mouth and I was dragged off somewhere.
"Shhhh, don't open your mouth," an annoying voice spoke.
Twisting my neck, I saw the familiar brat.
Fuuto.
