Chapter 5

Hikaru POV~

She will be entertaining...

"Now, now, everyone. we still haven't introduce ourselves to Miss Jade," turning to face her, I noticed her eyes for the first time. I felt my own widen. Black pupils highlighted her silver irises. Now that's something you don't see everyday. "I am Hikaru, the 4th son. I welcome you to our family," I said embracing her.

Her eyes widen in shock from the sudden embrace. But what surprised me the most was what she said.

"Are you actually a guy?" I pulled back in in shock. "You are too beautiful to be a guy, are you really a guy?" she inquired.

Laughing, I responded," Thank you for the compliment Miss Jade. And to reassure you, I am actually a guy."

Her face flushed; she was obviously embarrassed.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound rude, but-"

I cut her off," Don't worry, it is fine. Now, you still have 7 more cousins to meet."

Her eyes widened as she remembered her original objective and she nodded turning back to the others.

Jade's POV~

Shoot, I forgot about the others. Hikaru surprised me, I thought he would be a mess. All cross-dressers I've seen on TV are drag queens and stuff. I was expecting bright blue glittery eyeshadow, a wig not real hair. I thought- my train of thought was cut off by a man with long hair suddenly removing my bun causing my hair to fall on my face. Before I could react, he had already taken off my glasses.

"Hey! Give those back, I need them!" I shouted at him.

"No you don't, you were able to walk back to your room without them before," Wataru commented, "Why do you wear glasses?"

"Reasons," I shot back without realizing who said it. Suddenly I heard whimpering noises from behind me.

I quickly turned around and was confronted with a crying Wataru. Picking him up, I started to rock him back and forth apologizing for yelling at him.

Soon the crying stopped and he looked up at me. I noticed his eyes widen and stare at me. Feeling my hair on my face and my nose without glasses, I jumped up and retrieved my glasses from the one who took them.

Slipping them back on and tying my hair up again I said," Louis, I know you are a beautician, but I would rather you not mess with my hair."

"What a shame, your hair is perfect for styling and your eyes look like the moon in the night sky. But if that is what you wish."

"That is what I wish. Thank you" I bowed already ready for this to end.

How many brothers left? I already met: Masaomi, Ukyo, Kaname, Hikaru, Louis, Subaru, Iori, Fuuto, and Wataru. So I just need to meet 4 more. Those should be the triplets and Ema's old classmate. I scanned the room looking for the redhead, not wanting to meet the triplets till the end.

I found him sitting on the corner of a couch looking out the window barely noticing my presence. I felt insulted that he didn't care about my presence when I obviously did. Who else will tell me about Ema? He is her classmate and all.

Walking over to him I held out my hand and spoke into his ear," Yusuke-kun~" This will be fun. I smirked when he shot his head forward in surprise. "Hello Yusuke, I am Jade and I officially dub you as my information source responsible for telling me about Ema," I said looking him into his eyes.

Undoubtedly shocked at my sudden act of boldness he just stared at me. Clearing my throat, I brought him back to reality.

"Uh, yeah. I'll do that," he squeaked avoiding my eye contact.

One down three to go, I thought. Turning around I saw a man with orange hair being pulled from his seat by one with white hair followed by one with plum colored hair. Pulling the orange haired boy into a headlock the one with white introduced all three of them.

"Poor Natsume," I muttered looking at him with pity.

"Eh? You know his name?" the one with plum hair asked?

"Yes, Azusa I know his name."

Azusa POV~

I thought she just arrived. How could she have already memorized all of our names?

"Do you know mine?" Tsubaki asked, releasing Natsume.

"Nope, sorry. You're the only one I don't know," she shrugged her shoulders looking at Tsubaki innocently.

"Ehhh? That's no fair. How come you know Azusa and Natsume's name but not mine?" he winned.

She is just playing with him. Tsubaki. Is. An. Idiot.

"Sorry.Your name is the only one I haven't memorized yet," she started to point at all my brothers naming them," ...Natsume...Azusa...and-" she stopped after me pausing for a moment, "And you're Tsubaki."

"Yay! So you do know my name," Tsubaki confirmed.

"Yes. I knew who you all were before you introduced yourselves."

"What are you a stalker?" Fuuto said emerging from the hallway.

"Yes. I stalk my new cousins from the States for fun," she retorted," But really, Uncle gave me a note from Ema telling me about you guys earlier so that's how I know."

"You really do have a great memory, huh? I thought Rintarou was lying when he told us that you were already a sophomore in college," Masaomi indicated.

"Ehhh? Sophomore in college?" half the brothers repeated in unison.
